Dr. Wong is an excellent Dr. My previous GP retired and we started going to him, I like him so much better! He is very patient with my two high energy boys, and he has a great manner. He is prompt with appointments which I always appreciate.

His staff still treats patients like their idiots. The out of office message for lunch is on at all times so it is VERY difficult to get through. He would not send my dad to a neurologist after he fell and compound fractured his back - just lots of other dr's for pain, knee, etc. Turns out my dad has PLS which is a form of ALS that was diagnosed by a neurologist that he was referred to by another dr. I would presume that the ease of getting into appointments that is noted below is because people try to not to go there. Also, he is never at work I find - doesn't work this day or late that day.

My Dr. retired and Dr. Wong was a Dr. at his office, I was informed he was a very good Dr. I applied to become a new patient, I applied in July while he was accepting new patients, I also had a referral from my retired Dr. who knew him, was told he was out of town but I would hear from him within a few months, I called back end of Sept. and was told they could not find my application and I would have to reapply, he was compiling a wait list. I reapplied and submitted my application, I wrote on my application about the office losing my first application. I called back recently after not hearing from the office to find out how the wait list was going and told he was full, no wait list, too bad, all applications have been removed nothing now or future. His staff was very rude they lost my original application, I resubmitted as I was told to go on a wait list, I also had a referral from my Dr. who is retired. I am unsure if he is aware how his staff treat people.

My wife and I came from Dr. Wong's previous office and are thrilled to have him even closer to our home. Great bedside manner and every time we call his office there is always appointments available that day. Dr. Wong is very knowledgeable and answers all questions that we have. Lucky to have him and his staff to care for us.

I had seen Dr Wong at the Royal Oak Medical Clinic & found him to be very patient & helpful. He looked up information related to my issue & give me handouts so I could read up on it. I have seen him at his new office on Central Blvd & find him to be just as good. I am very happy to have him as my family doctor. Reception staff at this new office are not very friendly though.

Dr. Wong is a great doctor. He diagnosed me with having PCOS,high blood pressure and prediabetes (he decided to treat me as if I have diabetes because of my family history and high fasting glucose numbers). He emailed me some information on PCOS (Polycystic ovary syndrome)with was awesome because I've never heard of it before. I'll be going to the new office on Central Boulevard once he starts on April 1,2013.
