COVID happened and he walked out of the room on me, positive tests and all. Left scrambling to get help at a hospital that was a 4 hour drive away. Had severe chest pain and a long list of tests that supported intervention. He picks and chooses patients to avoid complication, to the detriment of their health. Said to see another specialist but did not offer to assist, just wanted to discharge me as a patient.

Dr. Alomran was always late to appointments up to 1.5 hours one time. He actually booked me and another patient at the same exact time. He contradicted himself with the diagnosis and decided he will not do surgery and did not answer my questions. He discharged me without a treatment plan or referral. Luckily Im following up woth another vascular surgeon whose are of expertise is thoracic outlet syndrome who is both knowledgeable compassionate and invests time in answering questions and involving patients in the treatment plan

He's the best! I had a first rib resection and scalenectomy one year ago and I am so relieved I did it. I feel SO much better after being in pain for nearly 3 years, I feel amazing now. Dr. Al-Omran has been so great this entire process, so kind, understanding, friendly, and knowledgable. I highly recommend him, he changed my life! I don't know what I'd do without him!

I have been seeing him for TOS during COVID and was discharged from clinic. My doppler ultrasounds are positive for TOS but the CT did not support it (a small pinch of the vein). A decade ago I had a comprehensive neurological exam from a specialist in Vancouver who was adamant that my first rib needed to be resected. I was in process of moving to Ontario and said I would get the procedure done here - boy what a mistake that decision was. In Ontario it is very difficult to find a surgeon that does this procedure. Eventually a surgeon did an anterior scalenectomy it did nothing. I was told after that this operation alone has a high failure rate for TOS surgeries. I have tried many years of physio and posture management with no success. I understand surgery should be a last option but why discharge a patient that clearly is suffering with worsening TOS symptoms? Every day I am living in 8/10 pain, my hands are cold with red white blotches (sometimes blue), and I suffer greatly. Not sure what to do next .. I am at wits end.

I have been seeing Dr. Al-Omran for the past two years. From day one I was so nervous about surgery (in tears!) and he put me at ease and I knew that I was in good hands. I just had surgery for TOS three weeks ago and I am so glad I did it. I am already starting to feel relief. Just saw him for a follow-up and he was happy to answer all of our questions and felt like he really cared. Highly, highly recommend Dr. Al-Omran, he’s the guy!!!

After a lengthy wait and a day off work I attended an appointment with Dr.Al-Omran who proceeded to tell me he did not believe I had Neuropathic Thoracic Outlet Syndrome as my symptoms of severe neck and scalp/head pain was not consistent with NTOS. When we advised him that every major university hospital lists those symptoms in the top five for NTOS he simply crossed his arms and stated "That is my opinion". This was my second time around for NTOS and I had completed the surgeries to correct the condition and returned to 80% use of my arms before the rib material regrew and the condition re-emerged. Fortunately we were able to see a good Thoracic Surgeon in the US who confirmed visually that it was extreme NTOS - from a far more experienced NTOS Thoracic Surgeon. His opinion was "Any Thoracic Surgeon who told you that you don't have NTOS was lying". If you have TOS and it is specifically NTOS with "just" insufferable pain - don't even waste your time.
