I went to see Dr. Grande because I was experiencing an intense pelvic pain and I was having heavy periods, besides some hormonal changes. Without a proper medical examination (only a Pap smear), he told me that I was old and I had to deal with it. I was just 35 years old.
After I felt insulted, but most of all ignored by him, I decided to see another gynecologist. The new one didn’t hesitate and order a pelvic and a transvaginal ultrasound. The results? I had three benign tumors. One of them was big and was misbehaving.

I was one of his "way over 65 years old" patients for surgery. He had all the time in the world for me -- he was EXCELLENT. I now possibly need another surgery -- and he is my first choice to visit. In all my years I have had only one other doctor who made me feel as Dr Grande did that they had time for me, answered all my questions and seemed to care for me. A wonderful feeling when in need of care!

I had seen several OBGYN's throughout my pregnancy, and by far Dr. Grande took the best care and treated me better than all the others put together! He had very helpful answers to all of my questions and made it an amazing all around experience. He is running behind sometimes but that is because he takes all the time he needs with his patients and doesn't rush you.

I am shocked by some of these poor reviews! I have been seeing Dr. Grande for 5 years and can't speak better of him. He performed emergency surgery on me for an ectopic in 2011 and at my follow up appointment he sat and talked to my husband and I as long as we needed, and even spent time thinking up questions we might have later - I've never felt so cared for by a doctor. Five years later, after delivering two kids with him, I have always felt he was very present in my appointments and never made me feel rushed. I schedule all my appointments with him first thing in the morning otherwise I end up waiting forever - but I have always reasoned that this is because he is taking his time with all of his patients and I can totally get behind that. Dr. Grande is old school, there is no getting around that. He isn't interested in delivering water births and he'll push for an episiotomy if he thinks you will need it. But I can't speak highly enough of his skill and calm, should anything go wrong, he is the guy you want by your side. He delivered both my kids and the nurses spoke so highly of his skill. Never in a million years would I have thought I would have seen a old man gyno, but after our initial chance encounter I felt so safe in his care that I never left!

My daughter had blood clots after giving birth. He did not give a block for the pain when he performed the procedure. The nurses were shocked too. Terrible way to treat a person.

I waited for almost an hour to see Dr. Grande for a gyno appointment. After the nurse saw me for two minutes, she told me to undress and get on the table. 20 minutes later, after chatting outside my room about patients' personal health information (um, HIPAA violation much?), Dr. Grande came in to see me. My appointment was about five minutes. Dr. Grande was condescending and had absolutely no bedside manner. I will NEVER return to this doctor.

I went in for my yearly checkup and gave the usual specimen requested of me. Several days later I developed symptoms of the worst UTI I have ever had so I called D Grande's office and spoke to his nurse asking, if the analysis of the specimen had shown any evidence of infection. I was shocked at her reply that "nothing was done with it"I just threw it out". I said why would you ask for a specimen only to throw it out without analysis for infection. The nurse said that was a common practice in that Office. I don't think so, Dr. MC Cue always did his own analysis and then also sent it out to be checked. I asked that Dr. Grande call me so I could discuss it with him, and he did call me back, to my surprise, he also approved of what his nurse's action. He appears to be clueless about women's vulnerability to have UTIs' and that he shouldn't have his office staff (with his approval) throw away possible evidence of infection.
As the Urologist who treated me said, untreated, it could have gone to my kidneys. In my opinion, because I am a older aged patient, Dr. Grande and his office staff felt free to treat my health care in a very cavalier manner.

I'm not at all satisfied with dr. Grande treatment. That was my 1st pregnancy from IVF, I expected little more care and responsibility. He made my delivery a nightmare. He tried vacuuming with no luck and hurt my baby, she delivered with bruises on her head. It happens sometimes but he did not mention that he is doing vacuum. He estimated babies weight n size wrong (almost 2 to 3 pounds lesser).that I did'nt expect from experienced doc. In my last week of pregnancy also I waited 2 hrs in doc office to see him which was very very uncomfortable , got severe back pain but no courtesy at all from doc. There's lot more thongs to share but no time. Finally, there are very good docs in the town go elsewhere. I regret choosing him for my first baby. I don't recommend him to my enemy also.

My birth plan was to have a natural water-birth. However, due to my baby being OP(occiput posterior/sunny-side up)Dr. Grande was called in to perform a vacuum assist. Dr. Grande performed an episiotomy on me without my consent, told me to "quiet down and just breathe," and clamped the umbilical cord when my birth plan specifically requested it NOT be clamped until it was done pulsing. Due to the vacuum, my son was born with a huge laceration to his head in which his scalp was literally pulled away. Due to the episotomy I could not sit straight for literally 3 weeks and have to be given Tylenol with codeine just to to able to walk. My son had to be re-admitted to the NICU for jaundice due to the hematoma that formed on his head, which is common for vacuum, but ultimately, Dr. grande should have made the call to deliver him c-section. Being that this was our first child, we had no idea what to expect. My son is going on 4 months and I still cry about the difficulty we were both put thru.

Dr. Grande performed my hysterectomy and then barely had time to see me for follow up. It was horrible to have to sit in a waiting room full of babies and pregnant women when we were there for infertility issues and facing a hysterectomy (possibly a private room or separate area for fertility patients would be nice). When I had bartholin glands removed, he failed to put in any drainage tubes (standard practice, I learned much later) which led to incredible swelling, pain, infection, dehydration, and having to be admitted to the hospital four days after surgery to manage what became an acute situation due to his negligence. I would never, ever recommend this doctor to anyone.
