My experience with Dr. Sourkes is on par with others here. She was prosecutorial, knows little about concussions and dismissed my symptoms as being psychological. I left her office feeling violated. Avoid at all costs. I'm surprised she's allowed to continue to practice.

Incredibly, I saw Dr, Sourkes for the same season as the reviewer below, a concussion, and had a similar experience. She was "prosecutorial" in her approach, and disbelieving of my injury. I had the feeling she doesn't even "believe" concussions exist, putting me on the defensive, and attributing my symptoms to emotional sources. I would call her a concussion skeptic: she disbelieves the prevailing wisdom that concussions are cumulative, in the sense that multiple concussions exacerbate post-concussion symptoms, and even said, as proof: "Crosbie had two concussions a day apart, and he was fine." . If you have had a concussion, do NOT go to her - She will set back your recuperation.

seems nice but if you're seeing her for the symptoms of a mild concussion or head injury as a WSIB claimant, she will doubt your symptoms and claim they're psychosomatic. Many neurologists who specialize in treating concussions acknowledge that too little is known about "mild concussions" and MRI's don't show evidence. Yet, she requests an MRI and writes off the symptoms as psychological issues. I wouldn't trust her with my life!

You've got to be kindly...this good review must be by the Dr herself!!! I've never met such a rude, uncaring., put words in your mouth cause she is not listening..,Dr in my life! Instead of finding the source of my problem, she is encouraging me to take over the counter medication everyday instead of as needed. Masking my symptoms will not get rid of the issue at hand. Oh wait...she didn't tell me anything I already know...yea you fail!!!!

Dr. Sourkes is very caring and knowledgeable. I found it easy to talk with her because she's very down to earth. I would definitely recommend her to my family and friends.
