Dr. Lewis ability is second to none. He not only assisted me in losing weight, BUT most importantly, he aggressively dealt with my diabetes. Because of Dr. Lewis, I am no longer diabetic. ANY ONE who has negative comments about this doctor is ignorant, lazy, and cannot follow instructions. Dr. Lewis always gave CLEAR directions. Call me if you disagree, but you are wrong. So unprofessional dirty office waiting room had the door open and was hot in there took my blood pressure with a cheap machine as far as his exam he didn't touch me had me roll my neck in a circle and my arms straight out in a circle put them ober my head as far as i could go tried talking to him about my neck surgery not interested stand up squat 3 times i have diabetes nerapathy on my feet so he should know what im dealing with he puts him self out there as a diabetes dr so i stoped on 2 squat my feet was killing me he said 3 i asked you to do i said give me a min horrible bed side manner tested my feeling on my legs and feet with a tongue depressor really not even the right equipment and my blood pressure was high better have that checked not a concerning the world all he was about was being payed fast easy by social security disability sad thing is you read all good about him on his wed site till you meet this odd guy will be calling socal security disability letting them know i want his exam removed and send me to a real dr not one of these weight loss doctors if your a diabetic don't use him read his reviews he is a web D dr only knows what ever he read off internet thats my opinion of him horrible

Dr. Lewis is one of the most informed, warm, knowledgeable, compassionate, and helpful physicians I have worked with. He is also active in Public Policy and community outreach. He has my unreserved recommendation. Practice: Endocrinology/Metabolism/Diabetes & Obesity. He is also my Internal Medicine Primary Care provider.

Doctor would give me medications for anxiety (xanex)which should not have been given to me because of my health issues(cancer,high blood pressure with sleep apnea. He is not available for emergency calls "when he is going hunting". When called on my concerns he wrote me a "dear John" letter and could no longer be my doctor.

I found that this Doctor would not look me in the eye, seemed only concerned about my weight, not other symptoms that were affecting me. He didn't want to listen to me and insisted that I have tests done again, even though I had already had all the same lab tests done the week before. I had the labs in my hand and he wouldn't even look them over. It was my first and last visit.

Extremely knowledgeable about latest research and treatment. Wrote all requested prescriptions for me with 100 day supplies and maximum refills. Board certified in endocrinology and internal medicine, with special interest in nutrition and weight loss. On my first visit, I supplied extensive medical history; after visit, doctor office called several times to reach me and to prescribe additional drug based on my prior history--because he took time to read and comprehend my previous lab work. Very confident, does not order unnecessary lab work or tests. Only cons: very poor impression of office staff and suspect he is way overbooked with poor ontime performance, but could have just been a bad day. He spent a long time with me and was very thorough, so this positive my account for this.
