I've been seeing Dr. Havlak for about 10 years. I've been very pleased with his care. He's attentive during my visits, has provided good care and advice and follows up appropriately. I'm very satisfied.

Dr. Havlak is a very nice man who listens carefully. He seems a lot more human than many doctors. My family has been going to him for 25 years now and my only concern is that he may retire someday.

Why is this dr. so spacey? He doesn't seem to be paying attention. A simple lab test took 7 days to report an infection and then there was no follow up on a RX for antibiotic.

This dr. is aloof and often seems "high" or loaded. Cannot write a Rx properly. Doesn't act on lab reports or call Rx's in a timely manner for patients.

Plan on waiting a LOOOONG time if you schedule here. Typically, you will wait for 45-60 mins past your appt time until Dr. Havlak actually sees you. He is very robot-like and I did not feel like he actually cared about what was going on with me. I brought in a list of my symptoms/when they started etc. to try and help him and he almost seemed insulted when I handed it to him. He ordered some blood tests and when I asked about when I could expect to hear the results I was told that it should be a day or two. Two days later when I called to speak with his nurse, I was told that they mailed me the results. Is it too much to ask for your Doctor or his nurse to actually CALL you with test results when you're ill?! I couldn't believe it! It's been 7 days since my appt and still haven't received my results. The receptionists won't even let me leave a message for him or his nurse. They just keep saying they mailed the letter 6 days ago. Now some stranger has my test results and I have nothing.

Let's start with the staff. they are a bunch of really younger ladies who do not make eye contact with you when you walk in. they do not acknowledge that you are there when you are stnding in front to check in. instaed they slide their glass window shut. when they are done chit chatting they open the window and with no personality, they check you in. it has been a while since i have been to Dr Havlak but the last time i was there he was just an okay doctor. He is older so he tends to not talk or move very fast. he seems like he is caring but has no emotions. he is very low key. i am sure he is a great doctor but he just wasnt right for us.

Didn't have time for all my medical problems. Visit is only 15 min. He didn't know how to help me because he didn't know anything about one of my medical problems.

Dr. Havlak is the best Dr. When he's in the room with you, he only cares about you. He doesn't act like he's rushed to get to the next patient.
