Dr. Halleron always explains matters clearly and in an easily understood format. She seems genuinely concerned about the whole patient, not just the sick/injured patient.

Dr. Halleron has a Jackyl and Hyde personality. The first two times I saw her she was great. I really liked her. She went out of her way to be helpful and seems to be very intelligent. My husband was with me at my appointments and had the same impression of her. At my third appointment she was a completely different person. My husband and I were in shock. She was condescending and would not listen to anything I said. She was writing a prescription for a medication I had tried in the past and could not take. The side effects I had to this medication were in the warning section. She didn't want to hear it. Continued to write it and told me I could take two if I needed to. A doctor can cost a patient thier life by not listening to them. It was a terrible experience. I would not recommend her to anyone.

I was a patient of Dr Halleron when she was a student at U of L she was very compassionate, loving and caring. She identified with me and did what she could to keep me comfortable through everything I was going through. I was with her for a few years and I would recommend her to anyone. She was and is one of the most caring people I've ever met.

Dr. April Halleron is one of the worst experiences I've had with a doctor in my 30 years of life. I've never felt so alone in my search for care, actually I felt I wasn't cared for at all. She doesn't listen to your complaints and so obviously doesn't care to help in your times of need. She isn't involved in the specialists that she refers you to, so when you see her again, its like the first time you've ever seen her. I've been in pain that has been expressed vocally with her ( if she listens, I was told, that she didn't need to hear my symptoms) for months, and she only recognizes one of those symptoms; even after a listed and handwritten detailed paper of my pain and symptoms. This is very saddening to me, because my first appointment with her, she was so compassionate and for some reason that has changed.
