Friendly staff and great doc. I had my wisdom teeth taken out with no problem. Doc gave me follow up advice to minimize pain and speed recovery.

Dr. Did a great job pulling my teeth. Had no swelling and minimal pain afterwards. However he likes to tell his patients to be quiet and stop talking, even on a follow up visit where I was explaining a concern I had. I would not go back to him as I feel the dr is there to listen to the patient who's insurance/pocket is paying him. Also got 3 different quotes within 5 days on the cost it would be

I was told 100-200 dollars for a wisdome tooth removal, then they charged me $95 for a consultation which included a useless 10 minute video, and 2 minutes of the surgeon talking to me. Which he insisted that I'd ask his staff any questions I may have, which I did 3 times and each time they ignored me to talk to each other. Not to add that they were talking badly on a patient who just finished her surgery. And on top of that they wanted to charge me $645 for a partially impacted tooth.

I awoke I the middle of my surgery to hear the "crunching" of the tooth they had broken and an assistant insulting my family, who were waiting for me in the waiting room.

Dr. Mermer is very knowledgeable. He makes you feel at ease and is very caring. You are definitely not a number! He constantly checks with you as he's working on you during your procedure to see how your doing. He really strives to make you as comfortable as possible during the procedure. His caring and outgoing nature is evident at all times. I was not only impressed with Dr. Mermer, but also with his super friendly staff. The entire personnel is in sync in all aspects, which is rare to find. You may get one or the other, but not both. You really feel like you are in a family environment. I strongly recommend Dr. Mermer for any tooth extractions you may need. I will be seeing him again to see about a tooth implant! MetLife Insurance used.
