She listens to my heart and lungs and asked me a few questions, but gives no prostate exam, which is important since it gives me peace of mind knowing that everything‘s OK. I ask her for a prescription for Acyclovir, and she tells me it is best to just go to the drugstore and get something with lidocaine to put on it, because it’s not genital herpes. Then I ask for a prescription for Cialis, and she tells me they don’t prescribe that until my follow-up visit which is six months later. My feeling is that she prefers to not have male patients.
