This doctor made me feel like a drug seeker for asking about codeine for short term pain relief. I was unexpectedly really upset at the concept of remaining in pain and cried in her office. She ignored me and instead gave me irrelevant list of resources including "Mindfulness and Self-compassion to help your (sic) leave chronic pain behind".
Left feeling gaslit and contemplating self harm.
