Had both of my beautiful babies delivered by Dr Rizvi, such an incredible person. Two very different experiences for me one an induced natural birth whilst the other was an emergency c-section.
My c-section Dr Rizvi, was at dinner when my son decided he no longer wanted to stay inside, she left her Night out to ensure she was by my side, as we didn’t expect that to happen, even though a stand by obstetrician was happy to deliver. She made her way and swung straight into work as soon at she got to my bed side. We couldn’t thank her enough.

I cannot speak highly enough of Dr Rizvi. We had our first baby in March with her as our obstetrician. She is incredible. I could not have asked for a better experience as a first time Mum. We felt very informed and supported throughout the pregnancy and could not have wished for a better delivery. She is kind, compassionate and very knowledgeable. We feel very grateful to have had her work with us and delivery our baby safely.

I had Dr Rizvi for my first baby in 2018 and can not recommend her highly enough! I had a scare early in my pregnancy before seeing her and I wish I had of been seeing her when this happened as she actually took the time ti explain things to me and be reassuring! She was lovely to deal with and the after care from my birth was absolutely fantastic! I had wanted an elective c-section and was very nervous about asking for this, she made me feel comfortable and when I did ask, provided me with all the information she could so I could go away and come back with an informed choice, I still decided to have the elective c-section and she was fantastic! I had a wonderful birthing experience, no infection like a lot of people I know who had also had c-sections in the same time frame (different Doctors), great after care and found her so lovely. Hopefully it will be time for baby number 2 soon and I will definitely be going back!

I had a terrible experience with Dr Rizvi. She did not seem to care about anything I had to say and made me feel very uncomfortable.

Will never recommend her any first time deliveries. My baby was measuring large so was given the choice of induction or LSCS. I was told to choose even though she was the medical professional. Ended up with the induction. She then did a trial of delivery at 9cm which failed. At 10cm tried delivering again, finally my baby was born albeit with vontouse. I ended up with such bad perineal swelling I was purple from front to back as well as 3rd degree tearing. All this wouldn’t have happened if she wasn’t in a hurry to deliver my baby at 9cm. My husband now calls her the butcher of Penrith after watching her trying to repair the damage.

I am very pleased with the way Dr Rizvi handled my medical affairs. She gave me plaid options and supported me in my decisions. Her bedside manner while in hospital was always prompt. I never felt rushed when she came to visit. My abdominal hysterectomy went very well. Thank you Dr Rizvi

Dr Rizvi was amazing. It's the first time in my life that I have gone to a Doctor and left feeling like the Doctor understood the problem, everything was explained clearly, did the tests accurately/professionally/considerately and left feeling better about everything overall.

Dr Rizvi has the most deplorable bedside manner of any doctor I have ever met. She is an older doctor and very stuck in her ways. She does not hold the best interests of the patient but is more concerned with delivery being convenient for her. Dr Rizvi is known as the cesarean doctor for a reason and does not hold any consideration to the views and wishes of the patient, or that this has been a completely risk and complication free pregnancy. Rather than be up front and honest about her unwillingness to deliver any other way apart from a cesarean, she waited until I was 39 weeks pregnant to tell me that she was unwilling to consider any other options. She advised me to change doctors if I was unhappy about her decision, but she was not willing to change her mind. However at 39 weeks, this would not be easy to do. I am very unhappy with the service I have received from her. I hope that Dr Rizvi improves her communication with future patients so that other women and families do not have the same negative and disappointing experiences that I have.

Dr Rizvi is a very thorough and carinf OBGYN. I used her for 2 pregnancies and as a gynecologist. Highly recommended.
