I went to see Dr Brighton for a second opinion after having partial knee replacement. The first consult he was very caring and understood the pain I was in. I had a MRI and blood test on the same day. The second consult he was rude and dismissive and basically told me that there is nothing wrong with my knee even though I am still in pain 15 months later. Sorry can't recommend a surgeon who treats a patient like they are a hypochondriac

Dr Brighton has done a Right Hip Replacement in 2015, a Right Partial Knee Replacement in 2016 and now a Left Partial Knee Replacement in September 2023 on me.
I have had excellent results from each operation and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. Dr Brighton explained the procedures very well and I could ask him any questions I had.

Horrific Experience. I went in with my mother to consult regarding knee pain and inflammation which at the time had been going on for close to six months. He was rude and dismissive to not only myself but my mother as well. I was in a lot of pain and had questions to ask him because he is a "specialist" however, he dismissed my questions and made me feel stupid for even asking them. Paid $270 for this consult which went for 15 minutes only for his advice to be see a physiotherapist. another 6 months on I am still in an unbelievable amount of pain and have to see another specialist. Ridiculous "specialist" and could not unrecommend enough.

My knee replacement surgery was an outstanding success from initial consultation through actual surgery and rehab and susequent appointments. If you need knee surgery don't hesitate , the best decision I ever made.

I had knee surgery and was back on my feet in no time. After 8 weeks my scar is nearly invisible and I am back exercising.
