I lodged a complaint about McMaster Fay in 1999 - they threw it out. My god, how many women would have been saved from this butcher if they'd listened?

I am amazed at all the negative feedback, I can only say that he helped me immensely with HRT during menopause.

I had been seeing Dr McMaster Fay for around 12 years and in that time I had 2 laparoscopies to remove endometriosis by him. I was 19 when I was first diagnosed after my first operation. I was treated by taking hormone replacement type injections Zoladex once a month for 5 months to stop my period, after that I was prescribed Danocrine for about 6 months. After that I was put on the contraceptive pill and over a few years I was increased to 2 contraceptive pills per day as I was told that my liver processes the pill too easily that it is not giving me the correct control. I was on 2 pills for probably around 7 years. A year before I wanted to start trying for a baby I went to him and advised I wanted to stop the pill because I wanted to try in the following year. He told me to continue on the pill until I wanted to fall pregnant. Silly me I listened to him. The following year I stopped the 2 pills and started trying... after a few months I contacted him and he started me on clomid for a few months to "kick start" my "sleepy ovaries", at the time he diagnosed me with polycystic ovaries.... 4 years later I still have not conceived...

Every time I used to go to the chemist to fill my script for 2 pills the pharmacist would question me. I should have seen the alarm bells then. I have been to multiple Doctors specialising in Endo and all have thought taking 2 pills daily was incorrect. I believe that my ovaries basically have shut down due to the prolonged use of 2 pills a day. I believe Dr Roger McMaster Fay has basically made me infertile due to not being given the correct advice and treatment. I believe he should not be practicing medicine and really has a lot to answer for. I am still in hope that I will conceive however as i am now about to turn 35 my chances are diminishing every day. Do not use this so called Doctor!

I was recommended to go to him from my GP for a repair due to child birth. This butcher ended up giving me a complete hysterectomy. I told him before the operation I did not want a full hysterectomy. I guess he does not care about women. I got an infection I rang his office and his wife answered and told me that he was on holidays and he is not concerned about you, and hung up in my ear. I ended up going to my local doctor doubled up in tears. Then after Christmas I had an appointment with him. When I came out of the office his wife told me I had to pay the bill now or they are going to get dept collectors out, I was never told about any payment. So I had to rush to the bank still in pain from the operation, and transferred the money over. apparently I was suppose to have another appointment which I did not know about and was not told. I was just 44. And now I have just found out I have to have another major operation to fix his mess. This sold called doctor should be ashamed of himself for destroying so many women. It seems like he enjoys destroying lives. They both should be in jail.

This psycho wife-beater has so many complications from his botched surgeries that he must be cutting women on purpose. He shouldn't just be struck off - he should be jailed!!!

Have recently read about medical complaints reports filed against Roger McMaster-Fay and am not surprised. He was my obstetrician in the late 1990s and let me go to 43 weeks gestation - while he went on holidays! After I delivered my baby, the mid-wives talked openly about parts of the placenta being "black" after the birth. Roger McMaster-Fay then used my case as "research" in placental blood flows - with me paying the pathology cost for post-birth placenta testing. I thank God that I had a healthy baby, because it certainly was through divine intervention and not anything Roger McMaster-Fay did to ensure that my baby and I were safe. He was known back then (I found out later) as Roger the Dogger and for good reason too. He should not be practicing at all.

I first met Dr Master-Fay when I needed hormone replacement therapy. He operated on me for a bladder and vaginal repair. He would have to be the best gynaecologist I have ever had. I reside in Queensland now and I would travel back to nsw to have him operate on me again if I needed it

Multiple complaints against him. I'm not sure how he even has a medical license anymore? He has reprimands as long as your arm. He is a very dangerous man. AMA should be ASHAMED for letting him continue to practice medicine.

Went to a few consultations with the hope of booking surgery, then being told that he won't be able to book surgery for a month or so, then having to call and call again to get an answer, only to be told to go see another doctor.
