I saw him to find out if I was a surgical candidate. He said no. Most surgeons are real quick to go for the knife, so I found this refreshing. This is admittedly a minimally helpful comment.

Dr. Krengel did an amazing job on my husband's spine. My husband could barely walk. He had been in excruciating pain. --Please follow all of the Dr.'s orders. It's so important. Don't smoke and try your best to keep your weight in check. Those two things plus a surgeon like Dr. Krengel and you're giving yourself the best possible chance for a healthy future.
