Rikki performed a routine cavity filling for one of my molars, and a few weeks after, I began experiencing intense pain in that tooth. I visited another dentist with availability at short notice, who informed me that whoever performed the filling had damaged the nerve, resulting in the death of that tooth. Subsequently I needed a root canal, which costed me around $3000 all up. When I managed to see Rikki a couple of weeks later, she confirmed that a mistake was indeed made, but seemed anxious to wrap up the appointment and usher me out. At the time I didn't speak up and demand compensation, although looking back on it, I feel that I shouldn't have allowed myself to be fobbed off. I'm a student, and $3k was a lot of money for me. Regardless, leaving this one star review makes me feel slightly better, and even more so if it can prevent someone else from losing a perfectly good tooth.
