I highly recommend Dr Ravi Rao. I am 3 mths post op and feel amazing, just over 22kg down. Ravi provided information on all aspects from being overweight to the weightloss surgery process and deciding what procedure was right for me. He is a very straight talker and doesn't sugar coat anything, you have to want the results to get them and be committed to doing the work. I had only two days where I felt I was 'recovering' from the operation and was back to my normal day-to-day activities after that, no painkillers, very minimal pain and just following the instructions given. Now I'm at the gym 5 days and active recovery 2 days and feel amazing, it's what I wanted to do before loosing the weight but couldn't. If your thinking of doing this you couldn't find a better Surgeon.

Dr Ravi Rao has given me the opportunity to finally get back to enjoying my life with a new sense of purpose and a ‘zest for life’ I haven’t felt for many years! From the moment I met Dr Rao, he made me feel so comfortable and confident that this surgery was right for me, his encouragement and support has made the entire process a positive and rewarding experience. He treats you with respect and care..and speaks with an honesty and empathy unlike so many other medical professionals that can make you feel ‘unseen’ or ‘unheard’..I left his office ‘seen and heard’ and excited for the future! He is extremely professional, confident, yet humble in his skills as a surgeon, and along with his humour and candour, he has made this the easiest and best decision I have ever made.. Had Gastric SIPS surgery with Dr Ravi Rao about 3 months ago and the level of care and information he and his team gave was world class, i am currently close to 60kgs down and have completely changed my life for the better, Ravi makes himself very open and approachable for any questions or queries you may have.
If you are even thinking of having it done just head along and have a sit down with Ravi, there's no pressure and he will explain everything fully and make sure you are getting what is right for you and what your options are.

My experience with Dr Ravi Rao and his team has been positive from the very first phone call to today 4 months later. Firstly his team are organised, efficient and VERY kind. Dr Rao himself supplies excellent information and is generous with reassurance and answering questions. My procedure went very smoothly due to his excellent surgical skills and experience and I have achieved fantastic results. Only 4 kg to go to reach my goal and this all in under 5 months. I should've seen him sooner. I could not hold Dr Rao in higher esteem than I do.

Dr. Rao has changed my life!

I had no idea where to start my weight loss journey but Dr. Rao was absolutely incredible from start to finish.
