Really good Doctor from the last time I saw him (late 1990's), however this concierge service @ $1500 a year is RIDICULOUS!!!

Mark Handelman has been my doctor for about 18 years. He is great....I was concerned of the expense when he went to MDVIP, but it's worth it. He is caring, thorough, and takes the time to understand all issues. So, while now expensive with MDVIP, it's still worth it. Health care in this country is in trouble, and Mark is one of the few doctors I know who takes the time to be as thorough as possible. Highly recommended.

Worst Doctor I've Ever Encountered. Does not listen to the patient, does not care about the patient. Just there to get paid!! I would not take my dog to this doctor.

Mark has cared for my husband and me for 18 years. Without a doubt, the best internist in the valley, but rates as one of the best in the nation. He is thorough, professional, and caring. I am forever grateful he was our doctor when my husband had a life threatening illness. It was comforting to have him on our side. God Bless Mark Handelman. When I share with others what our annual physical includes, they are all surprised and questioning their own doctor. He always takes the time to listen.

Dr. Handelman was my physician for 15 years. I loved him and he knew my physical condition without me having to go over everything each visit. His staff is super. He is everything you would want in a physician. Thank you Dr. Handelman!!!

I would say if what had happened had not happened I would agree completely with the first comment here... He is wonderful until one day you get a certified letter that he is dropping you as a patient.. no explanation.. no note to say why ... happened to three members of my family at different times.. my mother thought he was the best dr she ever had .. and his actions really hurt her feelings.. and i was in the middle of treatment for a long term infection when I was dropped.. it is very hurtful behavior which is hard to reconcile with the Dr I thought I had.. and before you write this off to some sort of issue between the dr and us know there was nothing negative that happened.. I went in one week - had a new appt scheduled and then was dropped three weeks later .. it was very hurtful and has left me without medical care for several long term issues.. so be careful.. he is wonderful while you have him, but you never know when that letter will come...

Mark is the greatest!! He answers questions, is very thorough, refers for tests when necessary, and is very comfortable consulting with other specialists when it is warrented. I have been going to Dr. Handelman since he started practicing medicine, and I would never go to another doctor. I have referred many people to his practice, and they are all very pleased with his fantastic professionalism and knowledge. He is so devoted and dedicated to every one of his patients. He takes time to really listen. He is the kind of doctor that every patient wants and deserves. There is no way for me to express my gratitude, as "Thank you" just seems so inadequate. He is a great role model for other doctors to follow. We need more doctors like Mark Handelman!!
