What a piece of shh... He’s the biggest bs’er Who just writes scripts for the money. The office is disgusting, the staff are obscene, rude and unhelpful. He told me multiple times the blood trial he was doing for me wasn’t going to cost me anything out of pocket, I received a bill for $4,000, he told me disregard it. Then a bill for 300 and 350. Told me I had to pay them. Then charged me a copay to come and see the results of a test I DIDNT NEED OR ASK FOR. I would rather perform surgery on myself then ever step foot near that place ever again.

Office staff is rude. Asked them to send my sample off to a lab that was covered by my insurance, because the one they used previously sent me a bill for $1300. I was told that they only use this particular lab (one of their employees is associated with it) even though there are dozens of other labs that can do the same tests and are covered by my insurance. Some of which are even in Bowling Green! They REFUSED to send to a different lab and advised me that when I get the bill to just ignore it because "they don't send anyone to collections anyways" I felt that was very irresponsible and unethical on their part. I am not the type of person to ignore a bill. This could ruin my credit. They were unsympathetic and said this is how they do it and if I didn't like it to find another doctor, which is exactly what I'm doing. I don't know if the doctor actually knows any of this is going on, but his office manager is the one I spoke with (Carla or Karla).

Personable & knowledgeable, I liked Dr. Tapp very much. He was patient & took time to review all my medical issues, then recommend treatment. I will recommend him to my friends and associates. However, I think he needs to consider replacing some of his staff.

The office is dirty. You will be there for at least 3 hours for an appointment. The staff is rude and unorganized. And dr tapp tries to push his products on you for extra money. Good luck if you go here.

The staff there have real bad attitudes, put you on wait on the phone only to answer the phone and tell you to wait several more times, they hang up on you when you say you have a question and Dr Tapp is pretty incompetent, doesn't listen to you about what's going on with you. I recommend getting a different Doctor.

Visited to get a referral to a urologist while in extreme kidney pain. I was also suffering pain from a recent ear drum rupture and resulting sinus/ear infection. I did not ask for any medication, simply a referral. He took one LOOK at me (I am over weight.) and said, "We better get you started on some blood pressure medicine!" I said, "I don't think I have high blood pressure..." and he LAUGHED and said, "we'll see" - he took my blood pressure incorrectly (without my back against a chair/wall and with my legs hanging) and then wrote me a prescription, said come back in two weeks and that was it ... no referral, no examination beyond one blood pressure reading taken while I was in pain - it turns out the blood pressure medication he prescribed is not to be used by people with kidney problems - what a great doctor... never going to visit him again.

Be prepared to wait HOURS after your appointment time to even get in to see the nurse for triage. Dr. Tapp is personable, but he seriously rushes through the appointments. You wait 3 hours to see him, he comes in and scribbles notes, and is gone in 2 minutes. He doesn't always address the issues, instead, he'll put you on a medication without telling you about the horrific side effects. I've spent years weaning myself off of the numerous medications he prescribed, after suffering nightmarish side effects that I wasn't warned about. When the staff is supposed to call to make referrals for you, they will fail to do so and then fail to call you to let you know anything. Don't expect anyone to call you when you're waiting for information. Phone doesn't work 9 out of 10 times - You just can't get through to the office. HORRIBLE. Find someone else.

Staff is so rude! Dr. Tapp uses to much medication, my 13 year old daughter was on 7 medication from him. I took her to another Dr. and he stated that he was a quack! My daughter only need one of the medications that he was giving her. Dr. Tapp is very forgetful and he comes and goes in and out of your room ordering test for no reason! Everytime I was in the office (which was once a week) I was there for at least 5 hours. I final said NO MORE!

Prevention medicine had me in the ER (with a heart rate of 180 at the age of 48)...after I tried to tell him about the 9 different side effects two days prior. He said continue taking medicine.
