Kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. She obviously has genuine care for her patients. Has greatly improved my symptoms. She is prompt for appointments and her staff is pleasant and helpful. I am grateful to be a patient of this clinic.

My experience with Dr. Xu was horrible. I was very sick at the time I was referred to her and she just added to the stress. She didn’t listen to anything I had to say. She messed up the tests she had ordered for me and forgot to even order some of them. When I asked what the result was of a test, she said, I must have forgot that one. When I went in to get the blood work done, they informed me that all the tests had been canceled. It took a good half an hour sitting in the chair for them to get Dr. Xu’s office to re-order the bloodwork. Her office insisted that I had called in to the lab and canceled these tests. Why would I do that? At that time, I was losing my vision, and she kept ignoring my concerns and telling me she has nothing to do with that problem. Shortly after moving on to someone new, I was diagnosed with diabetes, and sent straight to the ER. Her chart, notes and visit summaries were completely inaccurate. My employer was pushing me to file for disability, and when I questioned whether that should be an option, she wrote in the notes that all I was interested in, was filing for disability when, in her opinion, nothing was wrong. As anybody who has multiple chronic illnesses knows, it is extremely difficult when you get a physician who won’t listen to what you have to say about your own body. The stress, anxiety, and depression is bad enough without having your doctor add to it.

I found Dr Xu to be very kind and compassionate. She took the time to listen to my concerns and was knowledgeable. Her staff was helpful and courteous. I look forward to seeing her again when needed.

I was referred to Dr Xu by my personal physician. Her staff was helpful but she only spent very few minutes with me and was not helpful in addressing my concerns. Seemed to discount what I was saying was wrong with me. I will not go back and will be changing to another rheumatologist.

I saw Dr. Xu over a month ago and was never called afterward with my test results, even after phoning the office twice to request. The nurse and the physician's assistant were courteous and helpful, but I would not recommend Dr. Xu if you want an involved and helpful physician.
