The receptionist is ridiculously rude and impatient. She is also messy. For someone who has worked as a receptionist for over 20 years, "Incompetent" should be her middle name. She should be let go, but I get the impression that because she has worked as a receptionist for so long, it will cost the hospital more in severance pay than it will to keep her. Sadly, she will probably never be let go. Dr. Anand is a bad doctor, as he really needs to improve his bedside manner, stop rushing patients, and respectfully answer questions. He acts like a major snob who is letting the wealth and status of his position get to his head. Honestly, both the receptionist and the doctor need to understand that their patients have serious health conditions and that many are chronically diseased [e.g. IBS, IBD (i.e. Chron's disease and colitis), and even cancer]. Such diseases make their victims understandably worried and discourage confidence, yet both the receptionist and doctor are extremely rude to the patients anyway and therefore significantly fail to treat patients fairly.
