I feel so fortunate to have found Dr Mandell. She started seeing my two kids and I two years ago. She is the most gentle and kind dentist I've ever met and the only one my kids have ever looked forward to seeing. She has always done an excellent job for our family and I so appreciate her care.

brutal dentist
I don't understand her, First I thought she was a real nice lady
but i was wrong, very wrong.
If anything, she is very bold to say the least
She did 10 fillings on me and I was scheduled to do two more.
But
As a result of her carelessness she cut her finger inside my mouth
yes I was very annoyed, but to make matters worse
She insisted i get some blood work done.
This dentist wanted to ensure her future was safe, especially because she is a mother and she may want other children in the future.
She had no regard about my anxiety and how i felt.
She went and called my GP before I did, how asinine.
I will be changing dentists and look very forward to moving on.
It may be best that Mrs Mandell changes her approach
or their WILL be more unhappy patients unhappy with inability to be professional

I went to this doctor about 3-4 years ago when she was at another office in the city. Upon initial examination she said everything was good, then changed her mind and said I needed to have a fairly regular procedure done. More than a few weeks after I felt significant pain around the tooth even when not eating or drinking. I went back at this point, and she decided to re-do the whole thing. Ever since then, I've experienced pain around this tooth when biting on something with some resistance in the area around the tooth. I don't know if I ever needed the procedure in the 1st place but, the fact that I still feel pain from time to time from what should have healed within a few weeks is ridiculous. She also recommended that I go to a specialist for a very costly and invasive procedure that my next dentist told me I absolutely do not need. This is my honest experience with this Doctor. I don't know if it was a fluke, but the pain I experience is not.
