The worst receptionist in the world !!! She made me waiting for 6 weeks and not delivered my info to Dr. Murji . After found herself forgot my case, she suddenly closed the email conversation and trying to said patients no received phone calls but she never calls and never email me until we reached her and left her 100 messages , my lawyer also physically went to their office try to reach dr. Murji. Unfortunately Ashley gave wrong info and fake excuses . My best surgery was to be done in week 10-11 she totally let me wait for another 6 weeks which baby growing too big to make me and my baby both in danger !!

Dr Ally Murji is an excellent doctor. He's extremely knowledgeable. I don't find him warm or pleasant but just seems annoyed with you.
His staff are all fake to your face but you can hear them talking crap about patients while they are in the back. Don't be fooled none of them genuinely care about the patients. They are all there for just a paycheque.
Dr Murji is leaving the practice as he got another higher position at a different hospital. Hopefully whoever takes over is not just a good doctor but an actual good person that genuinely cares about their patients... I'm very disappointed

Ashley, the receptionist, is fantastic! I met her for the first time during my pregnancy at Mount Sinai. All the appointments and tests were scheduled on time, calls and questions were returned promptly. She is diligent, hardworking and compassionate. The practice is very busy but I found Ashley to be a total sweetheart. Thank you Ashley for all your support and making my experience even more memorable!

Met Dr. Murji when I was ready to push, he walked into the room and took charge, coached me throughout the pushing and handled PPH calmly, I am extremely lucky that he was on call to deliver my baby, very thankful and hope to send him a rolex one day!

Terrible, do not recommend and the office at Mount Sinai is a mess the most disorganized staff I have ever seen. My appointment got cancelled and rescheduled 4 different times for a total of six month delay.

Terrible receptionist Ashley. I’ve never met someone so rude in my life. She has no right to treat patients this way. She should be fired. The doctor never met me and instead sent his assistant when the appointment was suppose to be with him

I was referred to Dr. Murji by a very respected gynaecologist in Toronto in the summer of 2022. I was diagnosed with advanced stage 4 endometriosis and was informed that Dr. Murji was the best doctor to handle my case because of its severity. From my first appointment with Dr. Murji to my last, he has shown nothing but compassion, empathy, understanding for the symptoms I was experiencing, and the numerous challenges I was facing.

Not only has Dr. Murji been a total beacon of support for me, but as well as his entire team from Ashley (his assistant), to his medical assistants, and full surgical team.

Due to the long wait times in Ontario (beyond Dr Murji’s control), it took me over a year to receive a surgical date and I am so thankful to report that not only have I recovered from advanced stage 4 endometriosis seamlessly but I exceeded all recovery expectations and I truly credit the skilled and gifted hands of Dr. Murji and his entire team for getting me through what was the one of the worst times in my life.

Being on the other end of this diagnosis, I’ve come to learn how valuable having a strong and caring medical team is to not only your physical well-being, but as well as your mental, and emotional health.

I am confident that I am doing so well today because of the high level of medical treatment received by Dr. Murji and his team. I want to thank Ashley for her diligence with my appointments, support with insurance matters, continued willingness to help, and comfort when I needed it most. She has a tough job- she’s a gatekeeper to one of the most respected geological surgeons in Toronto and Mount Sinai, frequently deals with people when they are at their worst (including myself), faces unnecessary challenges, and at times takes the brunt of it from patients eager for medical care. I was in Dr. Murji‘s care for over a year and truly think she deserves a lot of credit for her patient management, continued assistance with patients administrative matters, and for really helping to keep Dr. Murji‘s busy practice running smoothly. It’s not an easy job and in my many encounters with her, she faces these challenges with nothing but grace, compassion, and confidence. I truly thank you Ashley for all of your help.

If you’re being referred to Dr. Murji for medical care, rest assured, you’re in the best possible hands you can be in. He is competent, passionate about his work, dedicated to his patient care, and highly respected in this area of medicine throughout Canada.

I am so thankful for the high level of medical care I received from Dr. Murji and his full medical team and truly hope you have the same experience- for me, it’s changed my life!

This doctor was barely present, his staff were helpful but they could have benefitted from his presence. He made false assumptions about concerns that we had and dismissed it as something that we shouldn’t have asked about. He made no effort to follow up following a premature delivery. Do not recommend using him.

I gave 5 star because of all the docs I have seen, he knew my case well, understood the history, was well prepared, didn’t push drug options or surgery just informed me on my options, risks and allowed me to decide. Ashley, of great topic on these reviews had impact for all the reasons listed. Working myself in this environment for years, I will extend a little grace yet warning for patients to stick to their appointments, be responsible for times and dates, be flexible with alternatives offered, save email address to email app with alerts and remember Dr.Murji can get pulled away to emerg surgery, need rescheduling and can’t babysit her. With the difficulty I faced with her, she was still compassionate, competent, friendly, assertive, all good qualities in an employee. Be a responsible, respectful patient, have a little grace when mistakes are made in this high volume of patients environment and you won’t have problems with her.
