Very disappointed at the new office

Apparently it's such a problem to post this on Yelp, so I'll post here. This was my first OB/GYN in my life time and surely was it the worst place I could've chosen. I've only been there a handful of times (maybe 5 office visits over the course of only 3-4 months) and I have nothing but issues with these people. Every single visit you have to wait a half hour to an hour or longer just to see Dr. Solos Kountouris. One time I was put in a room that was hot as a desert and then one that's freezing like Antartica which is not professional. The doctor is NOT even with you longer than 5 minutes at most. You wait on her the majority of your visit. You get charged 300 bucks for sitting there and then they charge you for services that are not rendered. Every visit you either have to give blood, have samples, or go get this test done or that test done. It's ridiculous. Only one visit out of the five I had I had NOT one thing done, every other visit it was blood work or some test I had to go have done. Each test you have done they HAVE to find something else "WRONG" with you and make you flip out that you have all these problems with you when you probably don't. One other problem is for my second ultrasound she said everything was normal but the following day I get a phone call saying otherwise and each person said something different. So they all LIE. These people lack communication skills 100%. When you call them, you're put on hold for God knows how long, then transferred to how many other people because they are rude and don't want to deal with you. They have a single nurse there, a single Doctor, one office manager, Stephanie which should be concerned about all these patients leaving and the rest of the staff and how they go about their jobs but she doesn't seem to care. They also have a whole bunch of staff that does a whole lot of nothing. They can't return phone calls, it's always "I'll call you back" but they never return those calls. I waited for four phone calls to be returned (three of which were from Stephanie) which of course she never had the courtesy to return either of them. It took them four days to transfer my birth control prescription over to a different pharmacy which of course was NOT covered. I had to call about it and yet again ANOTHER phone call NOT returned. I asked for my medical records and they had two weeks and of course they wait over a week or more to even have Dr. Solos Kountouris sign off on them to be printed. I call to see if they're ready because I needed them ASAP & I went to the Centreville office to pick them up; I paid for them and she doesn't even give them to me, and I had to ask for them when it should've been automatically handed to me after I paid 21.00 bucks for them. Not to mention, I get to looking through them and not everything is included which I had asked for when I filled out the request form so I had to go back into the office to get the rest. I liked Dr. Solos Kountouris but she is after MONEY. I don't know what kind of business is being run over there but it's not professional. If I had read all the previous reviews before hand I would have never stepped foot into this place. I will never be returning to this place ever again. I suggest everyone who reads this to avoid this place at all costs unless you want crappy care and a lot of bills. I have wasted almost 500 bucks or more in medical bills because of this place. Thank GOD I switched OBGYNs; there's most definitely a difference.

Run away from this Dr. Solos. She is unprofessional,rude , unethical. She billed me high upfront ,Office is dirty. After any test is done they leave the stuff there. Office staff is rude. I asked for medical records to be faxed to another doctor. Dr solos threatened me that she will call police.

I have seen Dr.Solos for two years
During this time I thought she was a wonderful doctor but as time went on the mistakes that were being made as her office staff increased , she became more short tempered with her staff I have heard her yelling at her staff her staff has yelled at me one lady on the phone yelled at my husband I have been refused test results I have made complaints with my insurance company and as I see now my insurance company has dropped this particular doctor . The refusal to release my test results is unprofessional . I had to go to another doctor and have seen tests done again so the time energy and money that was spent at Dr Solos office on testing was for nothing . What has been said to me in this office has been extremely unprofessional . It truly sounds as if it is hit and miss you go to this office at your own risk if anything goes wrong in this office the Peashant will be blamed . I am so grateful that a few women especially doing pregnancies have had good experiences and I pray for those women that go with your Sarvis and have to do in draw the treatment that comes from the staff .

I met Dr Solos for the first time today and i was very impressed with the entire office. I had the opportunity to meet the other doctor. I think her last name is Brown or Black but she was very sweet. I have to admit that the wait time was a little lengthy, but it was worth the wait because she spent almost 30 minutes answering all of my questions and explained my medical plan in detail. I will definitely recommend Dr. Solos to my friends and family.

I'm not very happy with my first time experience here. First time patient with my appt set up for the morning so I wouldn't miss too much time from work and after waiting 40 minutes in the waiting room, I'm informed the dr had an emergency. I completely understand this and take the next available appt that was offered to me for later on the same day. Thankfully I called 30 minutes before the appt time before leaving work because AGAIN the dr had to leave and there is no one else available to see me. My question is can the office not call and inform patients that appts have been canceled!? This appt was for a follow up after a D&C so of course I just want this all to be over and not have added stress. When we do try again for baby I will NOT come here.

I saw Dr. Solos yesterday despite the reviews I read about her office. The rooms were very clean and the staff was very nice and helpful - Maybe they are new I do not know but my experience was different. I made my appointment specifically to see Dr. Solos and she saw me 20 minutes after I was taken back. I had many questions and she answered all of them. She was great and she explained my abnormal labs. I am pregnant and was referred to see her by my friend. I was not happy with my prior Obgyn. I am glad to have found her and look forward to her delivering my baby.

As someone who works in the healthcare facility I have a deep understanding of what doctors offices go through, and I must say this was the most disgusting/unprofessional place I've ever been too. I waited for over an hour in the waiting room, after speaking with the nurse, wait another hour in the exam room. And while I'm sitting there looking around the room, I notice a used cervical brush kn the ground with someone's cervical tissue on it!!!! Not only that but the calf stirrups were covered in a blue towel that looked so overly used it was turning brown!!! GROSS!! I will never recommend or go back to that office. Oh and after two hours of waiting, I never even got to meet the doctor! I have no idea what she even looks like.

I love this doctor and her staff. I am 6 months pregnant and i have had nothing but a wonderful experience with this practice. I do not understand why these people are putting hateful comments on here. Haven't they been to a doctor's office before? It's a doctors office, of course the rooms will be busy, stuffy, and cold, and how many doctor's offices take in their patients right on time? Please don't Listen to the bad comments. All I have to say is that Dr. Solos and her staff have met and exceeded my expectations, and I feel safe knowing that they will be the ones to help me through this rough period of my life and be the ones to deliver my baby.

After reading some of these comments I have to say that I'm a bit surprised. My experiences with this practice is just the opposite. Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The receptionist is an exception, she is clueless. The practice manager is also very rude and I hope I never have to deal with her again. Checking out was very pleasant and the nursing staff was great. I actually feel a bit sorry for them for the way the doctor treats them. I witnessed them being yelled at in front of myself and other patients which is very unprofessional. They were moving the patients in very quickly and still being able to stay upbeat and friendly. The doctor (solos) however is less than desirable in her approaches and manner. She will make you sit in stuffy rooms waiting for her to come see you. Overall I love the staff but very much dislike this doctor.
