She might be a great doctor and she is all jokes when things are well, but she went CRAZY on us after we had complications. We were afraid to pick up the phone because of her yelling, insults and harassment. Despite her assurance of the availability, she wasn't available when she was needed - not in person and not even the phone.

Dr. Lustig gives the most personalized care I have ever encountered with any type of doctor. She takes so much time to talk with you and help you understand everything, even drawing pictures as she explains things. She also has such a genuine, warm, comforting way that I almost don't notice the examination is happening. I wish she could be my doctor for everything! Her staff is also so nice and helpful. Great practice!

Wonderful, kind, warm, helped keep me calm. Was with me during the entire delivery which was great as NYU was short staffed/crazy. She was fantastic. Highly reccommended. I love her!

Dr. Lustig delivered my daughter back in 2002, until that day I had no complaints. I can honestly say that had she not LEFT ME IN THE HOSPITAL to return to her office (aware that I was a high risk patient and at 36 wks, and had developed vaginal bleeding that morning) we could have avoided the devastation of having my daugher go through trauma at delivery. During delivery, she needed to be resuscitated, I am thankful to one thing, that Dr. Lustig's quick thinking while in panick mode,called out for the pediatrician. Had this doctor (the pediatrician) been out getting coffee my daughter would be brain dead today! After all was said and done, she insisted I name my daughter after her!

Helped me through a very difficult delivery, and has called me every time there was something questionable about my test results. Excellent bedside manner, puts you at ease. Am totally confident about her skills. I wish the wait time could be better but I attribute that to her not rushing through each patient.

Dr. Lustig is one of those people who should have picked a job where you can punch a clock and go home. I had the "gall" to call her office and ask to come in within the week because I was having some minor bleeding issues. Did she help, or even pay attention? NO. She pulled the same thing as she did with another rater: "I really don't know why you had me come to the phone. I suggest you go to the ER." And all I can say is, "Are you KIDDING?" Dr. Lustig gives doctors a bad name. Avoid her!!

All I can say is, I used her for my first child. And using her is, and will always be, one of the big regrets of my life.

Dr. Lustig is knowledgeable, friendly, very experienced and she loves delivering babies. At 36 I had my first child this year and I was extremely scared about what to expect. She put me at ease with her upbeat bedside manner, let me know what to expect at every stage, let me know my options and in the end helped me deliver without any complications the most beautiful baby boy. She stitched up my minor tearing nice and neat and came to check on me every day I was in the hospital. I delivered a week early and saw her the day before my son was born. She did a strep test that came back positive after I had my son. She called me AND my pediatrician so that we could have the baby checked out b/c of it. She and her staff can be on the loud side and sometimes the wait is long side, but I am sticking with Dr. Lustig regardless of whether or not I have another baby.

I wouldn't trust anyone but Dr. Lustig with my deliveries. She gave me the most wonderful care throughout my pregnancy and my C-section was actually enjoyable. Additionally, she gave me the "Renoir" of incisions. I don't even have a scar. I have always found her bedside manner to be lovely. People need to realize that she is a one-woman shop and that she is frequently treating patients who are in much higher risk situations than you. I learned early on not to obsess over every pregnancy related question because I once disturbed her with a stupid question when she was treating a pregnant woman who had been hit by a bus earlier in her pregnancy. She is the best. Truly fantastic.
