Don't waste your time going to see this guy. I have been there twice and he has not done a single thing to help me. The girls who work the front desk are rude and the nurse acted like I was just a number. No one smiled or acted interested in any way, except the X-ray tech.

Had a herniated disc repaired (lowest one) in Aug. 2005 and it was totally fixed with no remaining pain. Lifting at home again and blew the one above it out in Jan. 2007 and am now 3 weeks out of surgery and feel fantastic. I couldn't be happier and have recommended Dr. Karp to several friends who have also had good results. Very sorry to read about the person who has had trouble with the hardware that was put in but I’ve heard those kinds of surgeries are where the most problems are likely. Both of my surgeries have been the type where the stuff that comes out of the disc is simply cleaned out, no hardware or fusion involved.
