We are lucky in New Zealand to have a brilliant surgeon like Mr. Haemish Crawford; he has an outstanding friendly cheerful, well-communicating receptionist Jade as a bonus to his good practice. I consulted with Mr. Crawford for an honest opinion, and I was offered that even though I am not young anymore in my 50s, minimally invasive arthroscopic intervention with debridement and repair rather than hip replacement. He is a good human, realistic, helpful, and far away from any material. In the private sector, there are high costs of the rooms, theatre, anaesthetist, hospital stay, consumables and valuable time of talented doctors like Haemish. I am in good hands while all the steps were done right to have a hip x-ray, MRI and 3D CT scan then the clear honest decision that makes both the patient and surgeon happy - that's itself means a lot and we know the surgeons/doctors do their best as their success is as important as patients' happiness - I am excited about my surgery booked in August while in good hands as I am more than sure 100 % care will be provided.

Money is VERY important to this practice, they refused to give a decision on Xrays until the shortfall sum of $68.40 was paid, as it had already been paid I assume they wanted it paid twice. I certainly won't be recommending him to anyone as it seems as if money is the priority.

Haemish and his team replaced my right hip and did an amazing job. Hip was replaced in early May and despite my concerns I returned to work as a farrier in early August. Was given all the support and advice I needed and never doubted I was in good hands throughout the entire process. At time of writing I'm 6 months post surgery, completely pain free and back to doing what I love. Thanks so much to Haemish and the team.
