My family and I have been patients of Dr. Stoner for almost 30 years. I also recommended many patients to the practice. My husband had some swelling in his feet and hands and had a terrible cough for about a month. A chest xray was done which was negative. It was apparent that the cough was serious. He never smoked in his life. Dr. Stoner's office called us to tell us they made an appointment for my husband to go have a Doppler performed for the swelling. He went to Centrstate and had the Doppler done. Well, to make a long story short, his office never got pre authorization for the tests. I was informed by Lisa, the office manager that is was our responsibility to obtain prior authorization. Not true!! Well they tried to get the insurance company to back date it and insurance wouldn't do that. We appealed and lost, leaving us with a bill of $1,300.00. Well, it turned out my husband had a rare condition called Paraneoplastic Syndrome which people with lung cancer can get. Thanks to another Doctor, a diagnosis was made. If we had just let Dr. Stoner blow it off like he did, my husband would be a very, very sick man today. I would not recommend him at this point. Maybe he needs to retire.

This doctor does not care about his elderly patients. He was so reckless in his care of my mother that she died within 48 hours of his office visit, in which he did nothing but give her vitamin B12 shots when her levels were already high. He did not do an EKG, he did not order a chest x-ray, he did not refer my mother to a Specialist to see why she could not gain any weight, he never tested her blood pressure because he did not have the proper cuff, he never tested her oxygen levels, & sent a critically ill woman home. He did not even recognize that my mother was dehydrated & ill. He was rude & refused to explain to me why he did not recognize her life threatening symptoms. To cover up his neglience, he used the excuse that old people just begin to "fail to thrive". My mother wanted to live, but I made the terrible mistake of taking her to this arrogant man who could not be bother to even send her to a different physician because he had no idea what was going on with her. My mother would have received better care from a vet than Dr. Edward Stoner. I strongly recommend not stepping foot in this man's office. He does not even deserve the one star, but that field was required.

Dr. Stoner should revamp his office staff. They are incompetent. I will give you an example. I have COPD and had a terrible chest cold. Dr. Stoner gave me antibiotics but I felt I needed an additional prescription. I phoned his office and told one of his staff members the problem. She said she would leave message with Dr. Stoner. After two days I phoned again but to no avail. I finally made an appointment to see Dr. Stoner.

This dr only cares about certain patients. If you don't fit in a certain category he cares less. The staff is overworked and complain that they don't have enough help in the office. Stay away from this doctor.

Dr. Stoner is a doctor who is disrecpectful of my time, does not listen, and frankly does not care. This dr rushes the visit; he is in the room no longer than 7 to 8 minutes top. There are 3 nurses for 7 doctors and a tech named Patricia that doesn't know what shes doing. Don't go to this doctor

Best care I've ever received from a physician. I feel like a person, and not a patient.

I am very comfortable with Dr. Stoner as my PCF. He dosen't rush you in and out and he spends a good amount of time with you. Also, he is a good listener.

I have been using Dr. Stoner for many years. For those of you who were part of the Marcus Welby M.D. years, you will see the same character as Dr. Welby in Dr. Stoner. He cares for his patients and listens to each and every concern. I wish that there were more doctors like him in this world. I am so blessed to have found him as our family physician.

Dr. Stoner is the last physician of a practice that used to be worth the long wait in their office. Thanks to Dr. Stoner's poor judgement, I am now on months of antibiotics to kill a bacterial infection that should have been treated by Dr. Stoner but was not.
