He walked away from hundreds of patients in Beaver without any notice. Money is all he cares about, sit in the waiting room for hours till he shows up any rush through 25-30 patients a hour. Hope he gets help,

My whole experience with him was a nightmare. There is nothing positive to say about this practice. 2-3 hour waits for people in pain just to bend over front and back then wait another 30 minutes to check out and get prescription. I finally went to Advance Pain in Moon where I received excellent care and pain management.

My Husband Goes to see this so called "Dr" if that's what U call him. My husband has back trouble- In a car wreck in 2000. He drives a lil over a hr 2 get 2 him (the closet's to us or he would find other TRUST ME) But when he gets there, After that drive, He then has 2 sit for another 2 hrs- Then have a 5 min visit, Then go back 2 the waiting room 2 Schedule another visit (That Lady that sits at the desk which is the Dr's GIRLFRIEND YEP She is) If she is having a bad day. EVERYONE is going 2 have 1! My husband was told last time he went there AFTER sitting 2 hrs he couldnt see Dr.Hoover because he "Owed" for PAST Visit's Which he Doesnt. His Medicare pays for these. IF HE had to pay ANYTHING it would be $20.00 which he said THEN he would pay cuz he NEEDED 2 be seen & get his meds. She refused him So he has been fighting that. Now he has been trying to call & make a appt, I think they have a caller ID there, A month now, SHE WONT ANSWER HIS CALLS &LEFT 15 messages,SO next is 2 go there

I was not supprised to see this doc with a poor rating. It took me a month to get to see Dr. Hoover, waited two hours to see him, PAID MY CO-PAYMENT, and was told I needed to return in two weeks because they had not received records from one specialist I had seen years prior. The doctor based my medications on the last prescription my PCP had sent to the drug store, BY CALLING THE DRUG STORE TO ASK THEM WHAT I HAVE RECEIVED!!! I eventually got to the point where I too was tired of waiting, being ignored, and feeling like herded cattle. Unfortunately, Dr. Hoover is one of the few Pain Management docs in Beaver County and therefore holds a monopoly on those who can not travel for treatment. It is a shame that this man is permitted to continue practicing in this manner and treating people so poorly. PS: After discontinuing my treatment, I cancelled my scheduled appointment and still received bills for appointments that never existed.

I am a contractor who worked for this doctor and got ripped off. His staff lied to me and he then after a complete years servcie did not pay his bill and said they never rendered our services. Well, don't you think that you would have mentioned that when you saw the work being completed each day??????? Waiting room was always packed like a sardine can and people were constantly irritated with his practice for one reason or another. Surrounding business owners complain of his antics, as do the towns people.

This doctor is always atleast 2hrs late.I have had 150visits and he is always 2+hrs late. When a patient is in the exam room, he is there for at most 3mins there. he never looks a patient in the face, he never washes his hand, the paper the covers the exam table, it dont always gets changed, but i do ask for it to be changed.

I have been going to this doctor for a couple of years now. I always make a morning app. say around 10:00. It takes 45 Mins. to get to his office, I always have a 2 or 3 hour waite, in the waiting room. Then when I finally get in to see him, It's bend over and touch your toes, do you need a refill on your medicia? ok I'll see you in 2 weeks. any thing else talk to Marie, then you go to leave and have to stand in the waiting room for another 30 mins. or so just to check out and get your next app. date. He is all for the money and he runs his patients in and out like cattle. His attitude is " my time is money, Your time is Nothing". all in all a appointment that should take 2 1/2 hours, takes me 5 Hours, counting driving time.

I have been to this physician's office four times in the last 8 weeks. I have "seen" him for no more than 3 minutes a visit, and most of the time didn't talk to the doctor. Each visit he has done nothing to treat me, only telling me he needed more information and telling me to come back again.

This doctor is much more interested in his financial bottom line than in actually helping his patients. His office visits last only a few minutes so if you have any questions, you better ask them quickly, if you can prevent him from interupting you long enough to ask.
