Dr. Silva was great from the outset. We switched from another clinic, and he gave us the respect and medical counseling we were lacking. Armed with a realistic timeline and expectations, we felt informed and optimistic throughout. When our first egg retrieval didn't result in any viable embryos, Dr. Silva called us that day. He was sympathetic and we felt ready to immediately move forward. We had another egg retrieval shortly afterwards, and we are now 9 weeks along!

This is a trying experience for any couple. IVF is extremely expensive and emotionally exhausting. You couldn’t ask for a better team to help you and your partner navigate this process. One of the best pieces of advice he gave us once we were pregnant is to remember to enjoy this time. It’s hard not to worry about each appointment, but we are embracing the joy!

I would like to say that overall, my experience with SGF was very good. Dr. Silva and his clinical team are amazing! They will answer all your questions. His nurse Stephanie is extremely responsive and goes out of her way to make sure you understand what each procedure is for and that you are comfortable. They helped my husband and I greatly. The only reason I cannot give five stars is because of the financial team. If I could separate the two I would.... clinical side= 5 stars, financial side= -30 stars if possible.
My husband and I had to go through two different financial counselors because the first one was unresponsive and didn't give us any more information than the brochure. The second one (the first one's supervisor!) turned out to be just as unresponsive and unhelpful. It got to the point where I had to go almost to the top of their corporate office to get someone to respond and actually acknowledge things SGF's financial team messed up on and make it right for us.

At the end of the day I would say that I recommend SGF, but go in knowing you need to get a list of anything and everything from your dr. nurse of potential procedures you will need and get with billing for a list of costs and with your financial advisor to see which procedures are and are not covered. Be prepared to do this leg work yourself. They claim they walk you through it and make it transparent from the beginning, but they definitely don't! On the clinical side, you will be hard pressed to find better doctors and nurses that actually care and don't just treat you like a number.

Dr. Silva and his staff have always been kind, compassionate and respectful from start to finish. I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Silva to friends and family looking for a fertility physician. He treats his staff like family, celebrating with joyful moments and holding your hand grieving during trying times. His compassion and beside manner are top notch. Our experience with Dr. Silva was exceptional and successful. He takes his role very seriously. He educated us every step of the way. We actually had another doctor at the SGF perform our first embryo transfer that was not successful. The second time around I specifically requested Dr. Silva and his attention to detail when placing the embryo was incredible. We now have a beautiful baby girl named Chloe thanks to Dr. S! We also loved nurse Courtney and Izzy! Overall our experience with the whole SGF Ethan was great. The facility is organized and well run! Lastly, I really appreciated the shared risk program. It gave our family some finical security in our investment.

My fiancé and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Silva. Not only is he immediately likeable, he is obviously a genius in his field. We had visited other Fertility Specialists while trying to conceive, all of whom were far too aggressive. When we met Dr. Silva, we instantly felt that we were in good hands. He is so knowledgeable, and after running all of the tests (the other doctors didn't even take these necessary steps before wanting to yank my eggs out!) he offered us a plan of action that seemed far less daunting than what we had previously been offered. Even though we are both considered quite old for the baby-making business (I am 39 and my fiancé is 51), and I had other reproductive issues, Dr. Silva suggested we try 3 months of IUI before going to IVF. Both of us preferred this approach, and that is the course of treatment we immediately began. I am not sure if it's entirely Dr. Silva's experience or luck or a combination of the two, but we conceived right away and we are now 5 months pregnant expecting a baby boy! Thank you Dr. Silva and all of the charming team at Shady Grove Fertility in Tampa! I cannot recommend this facility enough! In fact, I have already recommended SGF - Tampa to my dear friend, who is trying to have her first child at 40.

Dr. Silva is my Miracle Man! I am 41 years old. I had a miscarriage in 2016 and we were trying for over a year. I met with Dr. Silva and all my dreams came true. At our first visit, I know he was no ordinary doctor. He gave me hope that I have never felt before. He was kind, supportive and funny! I was able to become pregnant on my first IUI and I am expecting in February of 2020. Dr. Silva's team are beyond professional and compassionate. Each patient gets their own nurse/case worker, who calls you frequently to check in and help you through the process. My nurse Emily was the best! She was there every step of the way answering all my questions and making sure i was comfortable with the process. Since Dr. Silva is making miracles for a lot of patients, each patient also has a midwife that they meet with for ultrasounds. My midwife was Courtney. She was kind and knowledgeable and always excited to see me. To sum up, Dr. Silva and his team at Shady Groves are beyond the best

After having a successful IVF in Rockville, MD with Shady Grove Fertility, I was happy to see that they opened in Florida! The doctors and staff were so amazing that I didn't think anyone could ever top them. Dr. Silva and his staff are just as AMAZING! Of course I did my research on him and the only bad review is because he wouldn't treat them because they're overweight. All doctors in the reproductive field won't treat you if you're well overweight. I would be worried if he did treat someone being overweight as its a risk of your life. This obviously shows that he has his patients best interest in care. He is very informative and a great listener when asking about our history and concerns. His nurses and even office manager feels like family. I can't wait to start my journey again with Shady Grove Fertility. All of his stellar reviews are true!
