He is unethical. You don't take on a person as a patient and do NOTHING for them, to help them. This is unconscionable--I mean, helping is your profession. You are taking people's money.......and doing nothing. Do you understand that you are further damaging these people? Do you? I think not. You know nothing about. For your information, a skilled psychiatrist can do a LOT for a patient in, guess what, just thirty minutes. Unbelievable. You should not have a license to practice. Truly you are harming people.

I find it hard to believe he has ANY training in psychiatry. He's out to make money, pure and simple. I really think he dislikes people with psychological problems. So sorry. WHY are you in this profession? 0h right, to make money.

Worthless He seems to know nothing about psychiatry. ALL he does is drink coffee. This guy really seems to disdain his patients. Why is he in this profession.

An unforgettable Doctor. I went to him for 10 years, and he really made me work hard,think, and thoroughly work through my problems. I learned alot from him, even information I may not have preferred to hear. We did not agree on all life philosphies, but "He was a great teacher in helping me to learn how to deal with the less than favorable aspects in life." Also, when needed he turned my attention to the positive side to life as well. Be prepared to work and thoroughly examine yourself. He leaves nothing unturned!

Dr. Altaker is always on time, he does not just prescribing, he talks and helps you out the entire 50 or so minutes.
