After suffering chronic neck and back pain for more than half a year, I decided to go to Dr. Rios despite the long travel time going to Toronto. He did free assessment on the first visit to understand if his practice is a fit for the situation. Then he asked for Xray for further analysis (this is covered by Ohip). I went back second visit to discuss the Xray results and treatment plan (this is $270 out of pocket). I'm 6 weeks into my treatment and I can say I had my quality of life back. He was able to treat the TMJ that I never knew I had in just 1-2 adjustments. My jaw has since then been realigned, even my bite has been totally improved based on my recent dental check-up. He's now trying to fix my hip twist which I had incurred for years. It's not cheap, and it's a long process. But it is effective! Now he fixes things, it is now up to us to maintain it by not doing the same mistakes we've been doing in the past. Sometimes, just knowing what's going on helps a ton in making sure matters don't get worse!

I love Dr. Rios because he spends time explaining and educating me on the anatomy of our spine and how we could get better. His secretary was also efficient - fuss free appointments. He has another partner Dr. Shell who is equally a very good chiropractor!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Rios for 3 yrs, he is bar none the best chiropractor/doctor I’ve ever seen. The Nucca technique eradicated yrs of upper back pain and neck pain in a relatively short amount of time. I know when I’m out and need an adjustment immediately. Having worked for several chiropractors yrs ago and seen many over the years I always recommend Dr. Rios to family and friends because he delivers results.

I don't believe these rating. I found John Rios to be a fake; he is arrogant and full of himself. He not knowledgeable at all. Not even certifies with NUCCA. Doesn't listen or take the time necessary and then charges you an arm and leg. Be careful and do your research before seeing this dude.

We first came across Dr. Rios' website when searching for a chiropractor practicing the NUCCA technique in hopes of alleviating our 4 year old son's intractable epilepsy and symptoms from his Chiari Malformation. Dr. Rios came highly recommended and to this day we are so thankful to have found him.

From our first visit, Dr. Rios came across as highly knowledgeable and sincere. He initially had his reservations and was upfront that the treatments may or may not improve our son’s condition. However, seeing our desperate situation, Dr. Rios was kind to see our son as a patient free of charge and long enough for us to see whether or not the treatments would improve our son's condition.

After our first two visits, we immediately noticed a significant improvement. Our son’s condition had rapidly improved from having over 100 seizures a day to being completely seizure-free for prolonged period of time. Our son's condition, behaviour and focus improved substantially and he was able to start school in September.

Our son is a very active child and getting him to cooperate during the treatment sessions often proved challenging. However, Dr. Rios was very patient and understanding and effective in performing the treatments with every session.

Overall, Dr. Rios is an exceptional chiropractor, and his staff has always been pleasant and welcoming.

It has been a pleasure having Dr. Rios as our son's chiropractor.

Chronic pain of 10 years, including neck, upper, mid, and lower back, has been gone after the first adjustment. Just disappeared. This is my 4th pain free week. I sleep better, wake up with more energy and have more energy throughout the day. Hard to describe, but everything feels more aligned. Highly recommend Dr. Rios.

Most genuine and caring doctor, not only is he a great chiropractor but he is also extremely knowledgeable and will not make promises he can't keep.

the treatments are painful in spite of the claims that they are not. To get started at all, you have to pay for x-rays. $350 before he even puts a hand on you. so, now I'm out $400 and can't go back because it hurt too much :(
