Dr. Holbrook, Yes the insurance paid $1,000 for an office visit and test for Staph infection that came back positive as it always does, I got 2 weeks antibiotics, same as every other doctor, and when they didn't work I still had the staph infection. He said I should go to Mass General, as they have more up to date info on staph infections. Yes Dr. Holbrook will try to push you onto other Doctors if you don't have an easy case. Yes Dr. Holbrook is fast to take your money, but lacks the knowledge to do the job. He attempts to force surgery on you, if you have good insurance. He did not know what a Persister cell was, as new info shows cells when they come into contact with antibiotics shut off, letting the infection hide until the antibiotics have left your body, letting the infection come back to life. So Dr. Holbrook, will not offer you any knowledge into your sinus problems. I hope I have saved you some pain in not recommending him. Everyone get well.
