My husband went to Trillium Urgent care feeling really ill on a Saturday. He was concerned he had a chest infection, pink eye and his foot was swollen, red and painful. He had not had an injury to his foot and it was rapidly swelling and he could not walk well. He felt that these issues were pressing and could not wait for an appointment with his family physician. He checked in with Triage and told him about these issues and this was documented on his chart. Dr. Alan Campbell was the attending physician. He diagnosed my husband with a virus that was presently going around. His eyes were also affected by this virus and he was told that it was not pinkeye . My husband asked him about his foot and Dr. Campbell said "sorry, that was two issues, you will have to go else where" and walked out of the room. It was too late to go to any walk-in clinic, so I insisted my husband return to Trillium. Long story short - Dr. Campbell refused to see my husband again and we had to wait for another doctor to come on call. This doctor examined my husbands foot and in under 2 minutes diagnosed him with cellulitis - an infection. This infection, if not treated early can turn into necrotizing fascitis (flesh eating disease). It can also result in loss of limb or even death. I feel this is level of care is unacceptable and we will be proceeding with complaints of malpractice against this doctor.

I would accept his arrogant behaviour if he was an intelligent physician. He was not sincere in his assistance towards my father and brushed him off so he could move on to the next person in line. His tone was very condescending and bedside manners were poor. Trillium is a busy hospital and maybe he should consider working in a place where he can take a nap in the day so he is not so grumpy all the time.

Very arrogant in the beginning ,asking questions in a very rude manner- I had to let him know that patient (my sister in this case) is unable to hear or comprehend anything due to high fever, headache and much more- only then he took it slow and asked questions patiently and explained results very nicely- unfortunatly, overall the entire staff and doctors on duty are extremely rude and unhelpful- one if the nurse on duty hooked up the ivy which never worked for three hours and it was only noticed by another nurse- also, all nurses and staff make an extra effort to hide their badges and are never sharing their names because they know his incompetence they are and can be reported easily once their name badges are visible-

Arrogant and past his prime . Does not listen, but talks over you. When asked a question based on his advice he replied that I should look it up on the internet. Walked out of the room while I was in the middle of asking a question. He was very rushed and said your welcome without my even saying thank you . The medical profession is way past the days that doctors were gods and that the patient had not dare speak up . Dr. Campbell it's time to retire and let the next generation take over.
