I've been so well looked after by Dr Sjouquist!
I am in total disbelief re the horrific reviews by some people here
Dr Sjouquist has been so kind and patient with me
I am alone with no family
She understands that I am alone with my osephagual cancer
She has never rushed consultations
She has gone to great lengths to explain my circumstance and the approach she is taking with immunotherapy to guard against cancer returning
You people who have attacked her are nasty people

Dr Katrin Sjoquist is a very knowledgeable and dedicated Oncologist, she was my Oncologist for quite some time before I had to change and I miss her. Dr Sjoquist made everything clear to me and helped me in more ways than one. I personally recommend her. I respect other people's opinions and understand that some patients experiences as below have not been successful or what they wanted to hear but I'm here to tell you that my experience was positive on a personal level, she showed empathy, had a structured plan, helped me with information about other physical health conditions I had, she listened to me, went out of her way, she didn't have to so im quite lost without her and thankful I had her as my oncologist. There is not enough comment space to describe her. Please do not go to her, I wish we had known better. Unfortunately probably part of her research....no compassion. Don't suggest chemo when you know it will not help. God forbid anyone she cares about gets cancer...then see how she wants them to be treated. Not cut off phone consult because she has 14 other calls. Grrrrrr. And her incompetent staff. So so sorry we didn't walk out when they stuffed up first appointment...it was a sign I should've listened to. No rating but have to as field required.

Nothing short of a disgusting human being. Treats her parents like absolute rubbish when they are going through the hardest time of their lives. Hopefully one day she can find some compassion and manners. Worst oncologist!!!!!

It's often said a picture or a face tells a 1000 words.... Vanity, ego etc... with collective wisdom at an older wiser age, one knows a persons character rather quickly.... you will know if you have a consultation. A very switched on person, however zero care if you are in public hospital.most likely treat you differently if in private hospital. saw her several times. can't even bothered/cared to get her weighing scales corrected/calibrated in her own office..... don't waste your time or money.
