Dr Nguan is the best doctor I have ever had and I am 59. As there is so much cancer in my family, she takes all the steps to ensure I get the best care possible, especially when concerns pop up, I get into see the very best specialists when its needed. She is very thorough, extremely knowledgeable and experienced and she is very personable when caring for you! She takes her work seriously and is always looking out for your very best care.

My ex family doctor. Stayed with her despite her misdiagnosis, because it's so hard to get a family doc. Well, she opted to go private to do Botox or something (really?) and we got the letter - in the middle of my wife's pregnancy, with no referral or anything. And, she wanted to charge like $80 to have our records transferred (to where?).

Luckily, I found a great family doc and it all worked out. Dr Nguan is definitely not recommended.

I highly recommend Dr. Angela Nguan. She is both a caring and knowledgeable family physician, as well as, a skilled provider in the art of botox and filler. I have always been a little nervous to get fillers, as I was concerned that it may make me look "plastic" or artificial. Dr. Nguan assured me that it was her motto to help me to look my best self, but not to change the way I look. She did exactly that, and I couldn't be happier with the results. In addiction to her impeccable vision and skill, she is so gentle, kind and personable! Seriously, I barely felt the pokes during the injections!
The Telus Healthcare Center is a very nice to place to visit, and you will be sure to be greeted with a warm welcome and smile when you arrive from the lovely ladies at the front desk!

I've seen Dr Nguan many times and she is the most helpful and caring doctor I've ever met. She is very knowledgeable and friendly. She is "chatty" as other people have mentioned, but I feel this is the way she gets to know you and understand your medical issue. She follows us, and provides great recommendations and advise.

I wish I'd read the below comments before becoming one of her patients. I agree with ALL of them, she's cute sweet nice, and rather distracting with some of her enthusiasm, she talks more than I do. Suddenly the appointment is over and I'm not sure what was accomplished. I had another TOP doctor overseas who "sold" the idea of Botox, so that doesn't bother me- I agree that she "guesses" at things, leading in directions all over the place. She will offer up a requested referral but then I realize there is no follow up, whatsoever. If you have a problem, don't go her way. If you just need a routine family doctor, and have kids, she's likely to win their hearts. She's known to be the "geriatric" doctor because she also works in a nursing home. Choose carefully.

Save yourself the time, by going to somebody that actually knows what they're talking about instead of just TALKING! She'd be fun as a friend but she's definitely doesn't seem to know much when we're discussing my issues. I'd rather have my Dr be a doctor instead of trying to be my friend.

She is very kind. However, easily jumps to unnecessary conclusions and diagnoses, is leading in her questions in regards to your health.

She used to be my family doctor. She's a super nice person and wasn't stingy with referrals. Cons - lack of knowledge and she gave up the practice in the middle of my pregnancy (notified me 1 month in advance) without referring me to anybody else. Thanks God, an OBG took over my health during pregnancy!

Cute- Lovely -Friendly smile - Great attributes for a "friend" . CHATTY -I feel rushed even though I'm in for half an hour ..and never quite clear as I'm walking out, to what we are aiming to do- I don't know her that well yet , but to be honest I feel like I'm in a walk in clinic when I see her. A very nice one.

I think Dr. Nguan is a fairly reasonable and competent physician. She is gentle and kind but I found much of her information to be "fluff" if you will. I want hard facts. To be honest, my biggest turn off by her is my question of her ethics. A physician who is doing Botox (clearly for financial gain) and also works in a private care facility instantly loses respect in my eyes. You became a physician to help people yet do a large amount of private and cosmetic practice that only a fraction of the population can access? Disappointed by this physician and found her staff to be rude.
