I've been seeing Dr. Daniel for about 20 years! I've been extremely satisfied with his knowledge and service. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone that is looking for a family doctor.

He is rude. Does not look you in the eye. Does not listen. Gave me medicine I did not want or need. Avoid this doctor at all costs. There are by far much better doctors in Red Deer you can go to.

I wouldn’t recommend this doctor for anyone who isn’t his own patient. I recently had a visit with this doctor (as I do not have a family doctor) I brought up various issues as I haven’t been able to obtain a doctor in a long time. Most of my issues were dismissed as he “didn’t know what he could recommend me” at this time. Although I can understand this he made no mention of taking me on as a patient. Although he said he wasn’t just going “to throw me out” this isn’t the point. If he is stating he can’t help me because he doesn’t have enough history but doesn’t have an opening in his practice for me AND there are no doctors accepting patients in my location this information ends up being completely useless. Not to mention it discredits the patient who has potentially (as I have) been dealing with these issues for years and for various personal reasons (location, finances, busy life) haven’t been able to get on top of them until now. Dr. Daniel ended up giving me a prescription for something I was not looking for which again left me feeling as though both my time and his had been wasted. I don’t doubt he is knowledgeable or caring (although his demeanour rubbed me the wrong way, that is my own personal issue) but he shouldn’t be accepting walkins for anything but very minor issues. There are a vast amount of individuals without family doctors at this time and we are doing the best we can with that fact. Ultimately, being a patient is little different than being a customer and every Doctor is there to provide a service and I think that may have been forgotten here. I was excited to try this walk-in as I have heard great reviews previously and I have had to jump from multiple walk-ins to suit my schedule and theirs but I will not be back. Luckily I persevered that day and went to another walk-in clinic for a second opinion and they were able to help me come up with a plan as well as provide aid for my issues without previous history! 😉

This being said a huge shout out to this clinic’s reception team as they were pleasant and wonderful!

Dr. Kamal Daniel sent me away and told me I did not have an infection and was not in in pain, but sent me for tests at the lab. I've had the same recurrent infection for the past 3 years I know what it feels like and I know my body. Alberta Health Services emailed me my test results which stated I had infant, a serious, severe infection. Dr. Kamar Daniel called me six days later laughing saying "oh look at that, you ARE infected!" As if my health was a joke and not a serious issue. He has no empathy. He does not care about people. Horrible bed side manner. Clearly is extremely incompetent at his job. He was condescending towards me the entire time. Worst doctor I have ever seen in my life. Go to anyone but him!!!

Dr. Daniel is an awesome doctor and very professional in his work. He cares so much about his patients and follows up with them. He is knowledgeable and he is able to know the reasons for your disease and provides adequate medicines for it.

Dr. Daniel is a useless doctor. If you have something serious going on, do yourself a favor and go to someone else. If you have pink eye or broken bone he’s okay. Would NOT trust him for much more than that.

Dr Daniel is one of my all time favourite people! Ive been going to him for Years! Started seeing him as a walk-in when he was in highland green. Became my family Dr 8 years ago or so and couldnt be happier!
