I am someone who doesn’t have much knowledge in the medical profession and he is so kind and really takes his time to explain to the child and parent in a way everyone understands, he has so much knowledge and he is an over amazing person

Good doctor since my son was diagnosed with a rare condition thank dr elmatary

I thought once my child was referred to this doctor this my concerns would be addressed in a professional manner. Unfortunately he didn’t want to hear anything I had to say. He only wanted to accuse me by saying he could tell I give my child an acidic, junk food diet. Even after I insisted we have restricted her acidic food intake for years as she has had problems with reflux since birth. As for junk food my child has popcorn and shares a pop with her brother once a month. After hanging up I felt defeated and belittled due to his lack of empathy and professionalism. I have contacted my family doctor who is going to refer my child to someone else for a second opinion. Wouldn’t recommend!

I cannot day enough about Dr El Matary. He is great pediatrician and gastroenterologist. He listens to me and my sons. I am highly recommending him.

This doctor is male and at children’s at hsc. Terrible doctor telling my 16 yr old pain was in her head. After transferring to new doctor and tests ran and being listened to, it ended up a surgical adhesion. Shame on him. Treated me like some anxious mother instead of listening as I advocated for her. And I ended up being right now thanks to him.

I can not say enough about Dr. El-Matary. He was incredible with my daughter and he picked up on a different illness than what we had not even come to see him about. In my opinion he has saved my daughters life when not one other doctor would hear our concerns. Thank you Dr. El-Matary for being such a professional outstanding physician and specialist.
