Dr Al-Ali is a competent surgeon however the ICU at NHH is under severe capacity strain and we lost our loved one due to poor post surgical care due to premature discharge from the ICU.
The loss has devestated us for the rest of our lives because we felt very pressured by the ICU team to let our loved one go very quickly.

Dr.Al-Ali truly exemplifies what a real doctor should be. He is kind, extremely knowledgeable and caring and spares no time explaining the situation and options. I’ve dealt with him and his very well organized office for a few years and feel I always was in good hands.

Disappointed, my father in law admitted to Northumberland Hills with a bowel obstruction, had laparoscopic surgery to fix the obstruction, unsuccessful. Dr Al-Ali never spoke to any family member about what happened. Dad left with problem and outcome not good.

I required surgery on my chest with local freezing. The doctor was engaging, professional and very kind. He explained in detail all that would take place. Follow-up was timely and advice thorough and helpful. A very good doctor, wonderful surgeon kind and engaging gentleman.

This long weekend I ended up at NHH emergency dept and thankfully in the hands of Dr. Ail for an emergency appendectomy. What a truly wonderful man, calm, caring, considerate. Would have no hesitation in seeing him for any future concerns and would highly recommend him and his medical team for all the great work they do. Have to also say the team in the short-stay ward are just brilliant. Overworked, for sure, but they are able do it with a smile. Thankyou all!
