Dr Ponke took over a practise from our previous doctor she was a female doctor so at first it was different getting use to a male doctor. He quickly realized that and partnered with a family nurse practitioner to address that gap. That was the first step that showed that he was a caring doctor that was focused in providing the best care to his patients. He has continued that way over the years. When you go to him, he spends time listening and analysing the patent concern and in partnership provides the best patient care. I unfortunately have dealt with a number of doctors through out my life and he is in the top ten.
