He is a wonderful doctor that listens well is fully attentive. He came off his holidays to see me in hospital. I ger the best consultations from him as he is on the ball. Nice personality.. I cant believe some of the negative reviews here. I have seen him on 6 hospital visits plus in his busy surgery. He is humble, brilliant, industrious, most professional and has a greay sense of humour. He has always been the same. Such a great caring physician.

Rude and no sympathy for my poor father who was in his nineties and suffering a lot of pain and discomfort . Everything he prescribed and recommended did nothing to help and all he did was tell us all his qualifications and experience. Which made no difference to my fathers physical problem. I cannot understand how this Dr is still allowed to practise medicine in Australia. He did not want us to get a second opinion and was ready to discharge my Dad who was completely exhausted and still suffering with his problem. No bedside manner whatsoever. Told my Dad he had to make more effort when he was exhausted and in pain. Our family don’t rate this Dr at all care factor 0 . We will never allow him to care or treat any of our family again. Terrible experience at Buderim Private Hospital however the Nursing staff were great shame that this Dr. gives Buderim a bad name get rid of him. 2023

I found no value in consulting this "Dr". Rude, dismissive and inaccurate. Saw me day after referral which was a warning sign I missed.

My experience with Dr Verma was far from positive, I presented to him with consistent chest pain and breathlessness, and without further testing he continued to tell me it was ‘anxiety’. When I proved this to be incorrect he attempted to give me a referral for a psychiatrist, completely dismissing me and confirming his lack of knowledge on this issue. He then prescribed me antibiotics for a different problem which I had a terrible reaction to which I’ve now learnt from a different doctor that I never needed them in the first place. I do not recommend Dr Verma, he is dismissive, lacks empathy and communication skills.

Dr Verma should learn some bedside manners. He was rude to the nurses and patients.
When visiting after my hospital stay. He overcharged for a 5 minute consultation with a telephone in between. With all the warnings you have to wash your hands in the restroom before entering his rooms. Temperature has to be taken. Mask has to be worn. Guess what Dr walks around with the mask around his neck. Enough said

I made 2 formal complaints about this incompetent and belligerent man. He diagnosed me with a slipped disc. After a week of abject pain for which he overdosed me on pain meds I sought a second opinion from a back specialist. Verma had misread my MRI results. I had an infection in the L3/L4 facet joints. On a couple of occasions when I asked him for more information he lost his temper and shouted at me and threatened to discharge me from the hospital (Buderim Private) He went into a long abusive tirade about all the degrees he had and how I was playing Dr Google. One of the nurses was quick to tell me that another patient had refused to allow him to treat her and wouldn’t have him in her room. Nothing good to say about Verma. Always rushing, visibly stressed and displaying impatience and anger. Avoid him at all costs.

After having a heart attack and taken to the Buberim hospital by ambulance to be treated by Dr Ajay Verma who I owe my life to ,his care for the next month was exceptional , most days he examined me twice a day and I would not have survived without his excellent attention.
