I was referred to Dr Teoh for a Permanent Impairment Assessment. He was an hour late and had connectivity issues which affected the call quality. Based on lots of reviews on here, I wasn't sure what to expect. When I spoke to him, I wasn't convinced that the report would be supportive of my claim, however, the report was supportive and agreed with my Psychiatrist assessment. Overall, the Doctor doesn't run on time, doesn't get a good connection or doesn't read information prior to the call, however seen sense and made the correct assessment in the end.

Came under Dr Teoh’s care at Northside in the mid 1990’s - he had to be constantly reminded by nursing staff he should see me at least once per week. I persisted with him for far too long and it nearly cost me my life 3 years ago. I was over medicated and my visits were too infrequent and too short. He is only in it for the money - he has his fingers in too many pies and does not really care about his patients. He is actually quite dangerous. Do yourself a favour - don’t go near him.

A horrible horrible person, let alone being a medical professional. Consistent with other negative reviews, he doesn’t listen to your issues hence you repeat yourself again and again. Then his report will be so different you wonder where he pull that out. In the end, his report is only to please the insurers. Don’t waste your money & time here.

I have seen Dr Teoh since May 2016 and in my opinion is the best psychiatrist that I have dealt with. Dr Teoh is kind and has helped me manage my health by spending the time teaching me management methods. Dr Teoh's medical receptionist is also very helpful. I highly recommend them both.

I have seen Dr Teoh since 2019 and have had nothing but positive experiences. I can honestly say Dr Teoh saved my life. I started seeing Dr Teoh when I was at my absolute rock bottom and there were times when his receptionist and Dr Teoh were very accomodating when I was having a terrible episode and needed an emergency last minute in person appointment. Dr Teoh managed to ground me on numerous occasions and help me understand what I was going through, why I might be going through it and how to notice what signs to look out for. I know this is just my experience but I have nothing but good things to say about Dr Teoh and the Ross Street practice.

I seen Dr Teoh for about 15-20 minutes and even though there was so much medical evidence supporting my illness. Dr Teoh agreed that it was was work related in person however after reading his report it’s completely different to what he said. It’s almost like he has mixed my report up with someone else. Dr Teoh had 5 other people waiting for him in the waiting room, he must write 15-20 or more of these reports a week for the in insurer. It’s clear his only in it for the money !!! Don’t waste your time. Don’t go to this doctor he is as fraud!!!

Dr Teoh sees you for 15-30 minutes and writes a full report on you. Dr Teoh makes a diagnosis and then months later without seeing you writes more reports and changes his mind about everything. Dr Teoh doesn’t seem interested and continually forgets things you’ve said. It seems like Dr Teoh is paid to change reports and it’s completely unethical, no compassion or empathy. I wonder how he still allowed to practice with all these complaints. He is bias and one sided and that is purely for the insurer and employer. I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone. Anyone that sees him should report his behaviour to the AMS, SIRA & Work Cover so they can investigate his negligence. Dr Teohs forgetfulness and unethical approach to write reports without seeing a patient shows that he has no tack when it comes to mental health. Dr Teoh lack of empathy & professional conduct is a risk to anyone with mental health. Dr Teoh’s shouldn’t not be allowed to see high risk or fragile people as he is likely to make them worse with his approach.

His diagnosis was correct as I've seen a vast improvement in the last 4 months.
It's expensive but way costlier to continue suffering.

Dr Ben Teoh saved my life , and we discovered my only medication that I am on for my life now which I am forever thankful for ! It is enough that he respects my family and actually allowed my family to come to meetings whenever needed. Family is most important thing in the world and faith ! He understands how medication should be adminstrated and that was enough and understood which I was value.
