I hope you read this Dr Gouke, I came to you for a medical report and hearing your the Godfather of pain I was excited to meet you as my pain specialist have been amazing but in reading your report I was crushed, the fact u focused on my weight and made up I had a weight issue my whole life was horrible. The fact that I had been through alot and shown in my reports that I had done nothing but stay fit as I could and put 110% into find why I was in pain. The degrading comments on a subject that is out of your scope of practice is gross. The lack of try in my report and copying a report from the insurance company medical professionals is bad, out of all the people i have seen I thought you know its always who lines their pockets first. This industry of professionals banking on other people's pain is disgusting and you took a oath to help people in need but you have taken you position that could possibly help people, you have turned it into taking money and allowing a system to keep damaging people's overall wellbeing and taking away the money they deserve. It's not worth the money to go through this process and the system needs a wake up call as the money is been wasted to pay lawyers and idiot medical professionals not caring about how they are destroying someone's life. I think you need to step back go back to research and tale a good look at what this is doing. I'm not sure how you sleep at night taking sway much needed treatments from people in need. I will take you up on writing the book and I will be painting the picture of how bad people like you are and this system is corrupt. If anyone else is reading this report bad professionals to apra more we.stand up to these bullies the less people have to suffer through this greed of money hungry medical professionals

Dr. Roger Goucke is a disgrace to his field. How he is still in practice I will never understand. He disrespects and disregards his patients, and suggests dangerous alternatives to current pain treatments such as methadone for HEADACHES.
Dr. Goucke is driving patients to suicidal tendencies and deep despair, and cares not for their well being or suffering.
He deserves his license revoked and full discrediting.

Disgusting and disappointing. Thanks for driving my partner to attempt suicide you scumbag.

Old fool who needs to retire. Refused to believe my pain stemmed from my neck and performed procedures that were not medically nescessary or indicated whilst refusing to even get new scan of the area. Instead relying on 5 year old films.
1 year later I underwent spinal fusion as I had severe herniations and degeneration which were “years old” according to my surgeon.
Stuck in his ways and don’t you dare ask for pain medication. You’ll instantly be labelled a drug seeker!
Unfortunately his attitude that everything can be fixed with a Physio that doesn’t even touch you and” it’s all in you head “has permeated the SCGH pain clinic.

Ohh so much to say but he is destroying my life at the moment.
Installed a life saving intrathecal morphine pump. It died 10 years later and replaced with a new one. The new pump is faulty and getting replaced free of charge but he REFUSES to replace it,

Is a bit like spock, nice bloke but very literal and not communicative. Has a very fixed view on pain issues which can be found on internet easily. I personally think hes quite rigid and doesnt really listen to you...also was quite perfunctery in his physical exam.....hes an anaesthatist not a physical therapist / should let others make the physical diagnosis and stick to the pain response
