Dr. Kerlis was my doctor growing up but I stopped seeing him 10 years ago when I moved 3 hrs away. Recently I had multiple disappointing appointments in the city I live in and decided to reach out to Dr. Kerlis’ office to book an appointment. The admin staff said I’d have the check with the Dr Kerlis to see if he would continue my care, but sure enough he happily agreed. The young nurse I had was awesome too, wish I knew her name.

My appointment was long enough that we were able to talk about everything I needed to update him on from the past decade. He ordered tests for me without me having to ask and was confident and comfortable prescribing medication that I’ve been on for many years that other doctors refused to prescribe.

He’s just so easy to get along with and you can tell he enjoys what he does. I was kicking myself afterwards for not seeing him for the past decade.

Moving forward he made a plan with me to come see him in person 2 or 3 times to get everything checked out/caught up. I was worried about what I’d do if I needed a doctor the same day/same week while living 3 hours away, but he assured me that a phone call appointment could be arranged if it was pressing.

I feel optimistic, cared for, and lucky to have such a wonderful doctor. There were a few times growing up that he really stepped up and supported me through my medical issues.

Lastly I’ll say that I appreciate how he talks to me like an equal, he doesn’t dress like a businessman, and even his body language is relaxed which helps ease my anxiety.

I’m incredibly disappointed with the medical care I settled for this past year in the city, and relieved I’m back with Dr. K

This man has been my family doctor for 19 yrs! Caring and compassionate. Makes you feel like you’re a person not a number . Doesn’t have the “god”complex like so many others do! Thankful and blessed that my family and I have him ❤️

Dr. Kerlis has been our family doctor for abt 25 years now. We moved from Lloydminster a few years ago, but we still travel 2 hours just to keep him as our family physician. We are truly blessed to have him. We wouldn't trade him out over any other doctor ... he's the absolute BEST!

Dr.Kerlis listens and truly cares about his patients! He has excellent knowledge and bedside manner. You may have a longer wait time some days, but it’s because he gives each person the time they need to better help with their healthcare needs. I truly appreciate the effort he puts into my care.

I waited an hour and a half to see Dr Kerlis last week. I was his last patient and he spent over an hour on my list of 7 or 8 issues. That is dedication.
