When told that I have a disability she said it’s not permanent and that if I don’t go back to work I’ll go nowhere in life and won’t be happy. Well I’m happier than when I was at work. Also on medications she has shot me down as others had said and didn’t seem to care about any of my comments stating she was a know it all to medications but then turns around and says I give out all these medications to my patients. So basically I’m going to be a Guinea pig and I also felt judged and worse off then before seeing her. Seems if she’s just a typical psychiatrist that doesn’t seem to know anything more than usual symptoms she also stated I don’t have diagnosis of MDD eventhough I have been struggling my whole life with mental health conditions and recently diagnosed with Autism level 1 which she never even talked about with me and it seemed to her that all I need to work on is my anxiety. But the anxiety is direct relation to my autism and how I relate to others. She made me feel very angry and didn’t show much empathy or compassion.

We had some problems. They were almost certainly my fault. I should have never started therapy. I knew better. But I did that whole 'try new methods' line they push on you, as though you need to be taught how to mask your trauma after 45 years. If you're going to start, just do whatever your doctor tells you to do. It's a mistake to think that you know anything about your own mental illness.

Dr. Nazif was not only thorough, knowledgeable but showed an immense amount of compassion, empathy and applies common sense. She validated my feelings, my emotions and who I am as a person. I cannot thank this Professional more, and if I could give more than 5 Stars, I would. The 4 Stars are only for the sometimes difficulty in getting a hold of her, and that it is only the policy not personal or personnel. THANK YOU Dr. Nazif!

Does not review notes before sessions. Sessions are 10-30 mins long only. Was not open to exploring different options for treatment or interested in hearing about patient history. She is perfect for those with light symptoms who need a kick in the butt. But is totally out of her depth when presented with a "difficult" patient. Is sometimes contradictory in her treatment. Example: Pushes medication even though she'll tell you she's against medication. Also speaks too quickly and over you, brushes away your suggestions as if you haven't been living with your symptoms and have a basic idea of what you may need, and it always seems she has her mind on something else.

Dr. Nazif works harder than any ten doctors. I have no idea how she does it, but she's pretty amazing. Her dedication to my mental health is a blessing that I will never forget.

I am not remotely surprised to come here and find that Dr. Nazif is the number one doctor in the city. She's giving me the chance to live my life, and I doubt that I am the only one who could say that.

Dr. Nazif gives hope without making it feel like a cruel trick, which is kind of amazing in and of itself. She;s smart. compassionate, and kind. The world would be a better place if we could distill a little of Dr. Anna into every other doctor out there.
