After a highly traumatising experience with another gynaecological oncologist (Dr King Man Wan, Randwick) I was relieved to become a patient of Dr Robertson's.

Dr Robertson is absolutely brilliant, wish I had seen him in the first place, would have saved a lot of anxiety and distress to me and my family. I feel so positive, and so so safe in Dr Robertson's care. Very easy to talk to, makes and takes the time, takes a proper history, asks pertinent questions, and takes a very patient centric approach including treatment options other than surgery. Cannot recommend more highly.

He is caring, loving, gentle, understanding, accomodating, assuring, to name a few of the wonderful qualities he has as a Doctor which gives hope, trust and comfort to those who are crushed in spirit and suffering from debilitating illnesses and in need of relief and cure. What a gift Dr Robertson is. Kind, clever, committed, careful, honest, good humoured and gentle- this is the doctor of your dreams for anyone unlucky enough to need a gynaecological oncologist. He’ll cure you if you can be cured, and if not he’ll save your life for as long as possible, and help make it more livable. He gives each patient a part of himself and makes them, and their family, feel safe. Here are some of the thing he does not do: rush you, lie to you, patronise you, ignore your worries, hurt you, confuse you, embarrass you, belittle you or talk over you. After seeing him, everyone feels better! I agree with the comment about the OBE.

Agree with all the comments on this page. Dr Robertson is an amazing Doctor and human. I feel blessed to have had him as my Surgeon when I needed a lifesaver and a compassionate voice when I needed reassurance .

He is just the best doctor / person that you could ever wish to meet. How lucky was I to be referred to Dr. Robertson. One of St George Hospitals greatest assets - goes above and beyond to ensure you are treated with the greatest of respect and his professionalism is undeniably the best you will ever find. What a top Dr, with the greatest personality. I cannot give this man the true praise he deserves - simply the best !!
