I went to Dr. Bove for a hemmroid that my primary Dr. said needed to be removed. I was very nervous not knowing this Dr. and not knowing what to expect. However Dr. Bove was very pleasant and was very professional and makes you feel very comfortable. He gave me a lot of knowledge on what I needed to do in order to get my hemmroids to shrink. He explained what they were and why people get them. He also was very up front about the surgery and that it should be the last resort for hemmroids. I was also impressed that he is a surgeon and didn't say yep you need to have surgery. From my first experience with this Dr. I would go back to him again if I every needed to.

This is a great surgeon! I was high risk for the operation but needed it. I appreciated his professionism and communication with me and my family. If I need surgery again I want him.

This surgeon is the best one in Marion, made a difficult diagnosis on my mother after other Drs. failed and then performed a major operation on her that went very well. He is very bright and always took a great deal of time to explain to my mother and my family what was happening and answered all of our questions completely.

Because of this dr. I will no longer have any procedures done in Marion Ohio. He removed my gallbladder. When I went for my followup - I was treated so badly that I just wanted to cry. He kept telling me that I could eat greasy fried food now. I tried to tell him that I have never been able to eat fried food - he cut me off from finishing what I had to say. When I told him of my concerns. He flippedly answered "oh, that's normal" Well that "normal situation" has turned into seeing a specialist in Columbus. I am very angry that after 16 months my problems have not been solved. It seems I didn't really need my gallbladder taken out. Having surgery made the situation worse. This could have been avoided if he didn't sterotype me as an overweight 50'sh women. Maybe, had he asked questions before the operation and at the followup visit I wouldn't be worse off than BEFORE the operation.
