Ratings for Dr. Poonam Rajan
She only spends 5 minutes with you and doesn’t care to help you solve your problems. If she cannot help fix the problem, she doesn’t empathize with what you’re dealing with to find other solutions.

First appointment with Dr Rajan for eczema and contact dermatitis, and she was knowledgable and compassionate. Staff was also good- I wasn't waiting long and was out fast with a diagnosis and prescriptions.

Neither doctor nor staff care. Long waiting time no follow up
No communication after the test results are available

Don't waste your time with this Dr just cares about money and trying to book more appointments. No solution was given and barely spent 5 mins with me.

I have been a patient of Dr. Rajan for several years. She is an outstanding dermatologist both in terms of her medical expertise and guidance as well as her sensitivity to the well being of her patients. During the course of a full body skin exam earlier this year, she identified, biopsied and safely removed a lesion that looked innocuous to me but concerning to her. The lesion turned out to be cancerous. Of no less importance, Dr. Rajan has a personal presence that is gentle, patient, compassionate and supportive. On a few occasions over the years, her expertise and reassurance have alleviated the anxiety I have felt in the face of medical uncertainty.
Dr. Rajan, If you read my review, I want you to know there simply aren't the words to express my gratitude for your kindness, support and medical assistance.

This doctor may be smart but her people skills are terrible. She does not know how to communicate to patients, show empathy or build rapport with the patients. A little smile Dr. Rajan would be nice or the ability to show interest in the patient would go a long way. I thought younger doctors gained admission to medical school, based on their ability to relate to people. The medical school and post-graduate school that admitted her, failed miserably. Unless a doctor is doing research only, the ability to relate to people is important....in my humble opinion. There is still time Doctor to try to develop interpersonal and communication skills.

I brought my 14 year old daughter in for her eczema and we were both so impressed with Dr. Rajan. She was so kind and knowledgeable and I couldn't believe how fast the appt was! I was prepared for an hour long wait but we were in and out of the office in less than 20 minutes. Would definitely recommend.

From the moment I walked in and was greeted by the receptionist my experience was a 5/5 in all aspects. Dr Rajan was easy to talk to, knowledgeable, ad thorough. She professionally took care of my reason for the appt but then noticed and biopsied another spot which turned out to be cancer. I received the phone call way faster than I thought it would take and they had already set up a subsequent appt to take care of same.
I have seen many doctors in the last few years in a variety of fields due to an injury - Dr Rajan is right up with the top judging from my experience

I have had the privilege of working with Dr Rajan for the past 6 years. She is very knowledge and understanding.I had been to several Dermatologists in the area that could not give me answers. Luckily for me I found her and she immediately found the right treatment and diagnosis for me helping me gain my confidence back and helping me achieve beautiful skin. Thank you Dr Rajan like I told you before you changed my life !
