He made me go bald on the top of my head with his HRT, I was also collapsing in the afternoons. It took an endocrinologist 2 years to straighten my hormones out. After 4 years my hair is fragile and thin where it fell out.

He is up to date on the latest medical information and shares with his patients. Excellent doctor and staff. Spends time with his patients and never makes you feel rushed. The best doctor I've ever been to.

Dr. Dent has been my doctor since 1997. He has been wonderful every time I have seen him. He is busy because he is good. I have sent two different friends to him on an urgent basis. One another Gyn. in Florence had ran an ultrasound due to extreme pelvic pain and told her nothing was wrong. She came to me crying due to the pain. I asked her if she would go see Dr. Dent if he could see her. I called the office and they asked me if she could be there within 30 minutes. She could and did. After running another ultrasound Dr. Dent found a small tumor and could not believe the other doctor could not see it. Even my friend could see it when he showed it to her. She had surgery after which there was no more pain. My second friend was almost the same scenario except this time when she went in within 30 minutes of my call, he literally saved her life. He spent hours with her looking at the reports her regular doctor did not have time to look at. He scheduled additional test on an emergency basis and literally saved her life. I am not fabricating these details. She is still receiving treatment from specialist in Charleston that Dr. Dent referred her to, but is feeling much better. She still has a ways to go, but if had not been for Dr. Dent she probably would have not been alive now. It is always easy to point fingers and make accusations, but you have to give credit when credit is due. There is a great deal of difference between a emergency and a annual visit, but he has always been the utmost professional anytime I have had to use his services. What in the world will I do if, and when he retires!

Dr. Dent was my OB doctor for years. He helped me through some really tough times. He also delivered my son 19 years ago. I only changed doctors because, I was no longer working in Florence. I am thinking about giving his office a call and getting my old doctor back.

Dr Dent is very patient and understanding and knows what may work for one dose not work for all , he will work you until he finds out what You need to be successful in your weight loss . His staff is very friendly and helpful. I have and will continue to recommend Dr Dent .

I have been going to Doctor Dent for several years or more. He is very patient. He has an excellent bedside manner, and I feel he is the epitome of what a doctor should be. He does not judge you or make you feel bad. Doctor Dent’s philosophy is, let’s see what we need to work on to help you feel better or elevate the problem. He treats everyone equally, and his knowledge seems to go beyond his own expertise. The reason why, I say this is because he has told me things concerning my health that are correct. I went to the specialty doctor and my diagnosis was exactly what he suggested to me. The staff is excellent. They are kind and caring each time I go there. Great doctor.

Dr. Dent has been a constant source of information in my efforts to regulate my blood pressure and weigh. He clearly explains all cause and effect of medications I use. He ensures that I fully understand what he told me... with questions and have me explain to the best of ability what he informed me on how to take all medications, including eating habits to reduce my blood pressure.
I will highly recommend Dr. Dent to my family and friends.

Dr Dent is an outstanding doctor. His patient doctor communication is exceptional. He listens to your concerns and make you feel comfortable. He works diligently to find the best resolution for your overall health. He’s smart and never shown any discrimination no matter who you are. When you walk out the office you feel like you were just as important as anyone else in the office because that’s his personality towards his patients. I’m so happy to have him as my doctor. Dr Dent have helped me manage my hormone needs for the last 8 years. He’s the first doctor that I’ve trusted to do major surgery for me in 31 years and that means a lot to me.
