First of all her staff is terrible. They make excuses for every mistake up that they make. Getting an appointment with her you have to wait for weeks before she can see you. By then your problem has gotten worse. Staff does no follow up on return call. Call the office and you get nothing but answering machine . Not a happy patient.

Very often when you call all you get is numerous recorded messages and no option to speak to a human. The wait time for an appt was 4 weeks, otherwise i was told to go to urgent care on 3 occasions. very hard to get a referral from an MD who is concerned about the profits within the capitated HMO.

Dr. Curtis is too worried about covering her butt. It's sad that the fear of medical malpractice detracts from her ability to give much needed care. Also getting an appointment in this office is hopeless; it takes about 6 weeks to be seen; I usually end up at urgent care.

I like her because she really spends time with you and allows you to take care of yourself and authorizes pharmaceuticals over the phone (if you can fully explain your symptoms or repeat illness) to save you office visits. She is very popular with her patients and is extremely busy because of her popularity. Great communicating Dr. who cares. I have been with her for the last 10 years and have no desire to change primary care physicians.

She seems to care but her staff is awful. They call and make comments that they left a message for you but they are never available when their call is returned but they do make the comment that the call was returned. Seems to be ok for colds, flus but that is about all.
