I have to say I find Dr Crosbys arrogance, very disturbing and highly unprofessional . It calls his motives into question.

Dr Crosby is a horrible dentist! He claims to be holistic but I don't think he knows the meaning of the word! Just like that last patient said, he is always pushing x-rays and claiming there are problems with our children's teeth. I too got a second opinion and found that the work he wanted to do on my child was not necessary. He does not care about the health or well being of a child nor does he know how to be caring and compassionate to them. All he cares about is the money he will make off of you or your health plan.

Dr Crosby is the most unprofessional Dentist I have taken my children to. This was my first and last visit to this clinic. My wife and I have been looking for a hollistic dentist and Georgian dental came up in our seach as being "hollistic" We don't believe in exposing our children to Xrays due to the harmful effects of radiation! I took my children in for a cleaning and that's all I wanted as they have their primary teeth already on their way out. So there was no need for any additional work. Once the Dr. Crosby examined one my girls, he came out to speak to me about how many cavities she has and that she has 2 abscesses and she needs to have a set of xrays. I told him that there was an abscess in that area that was treated 4 months ago and my child had no pain and it had been resolved. So I didn't want to have xrays done on her and please just do what you can without xrays. Well he said next is what surprised me and made me very upset. He accused me of "child abuse" for not allowing to take xrays.... really?!?!?! What an idiot! So we got into heated discussion and I ended up asking them to stop all work on my children and took them home. Just before taking them home.. I also, asked to see those "abscesses" he was telling me about, (as a healthcare worker myself)turns out they were not, there was no sign of pus, pain, discomfort or infection in the areas he mentioned...he was just assuming!!! Not to mention, as we were walking back to the examination room he was dropping "F" words my way in a low voice, which he refuse to say once I turned around and confronted him about it. I guess no one ever question his abilities before!! Xrays to me are harmful and for Dentists is just another money making scam. So the day after this incident, I took my children to their old dentist back in the GTA for a second opinion.. Turns our that my daughter has NO abscess and yes she has a couple of cavities but no treatment is required! Parents, beware!!! Please do not take your children to Dr. Stephen Crosby!!!! Also don't be afraid to question doctors on their knowledge, they might have the designation of "Doctor" but parents know best! And Dr. Crosby, please learn to speak to parents and never accuse a father or mother that has the best interest of their children's well being of "child abuse"! I am filing a formal complaint to the Ontario Dental Association!

Went in for a cleaning and a check up because this office seemed to have a great deal free check up with a cleaning. The woman who cleaned my teeth was very nice and did a wonderful job, dr. Crosby came to do my check up and it was a very quick one I had three cavities and a chip. So I later made an appointment to get the cavities done as I do not have insurance my appointment was three weeks later. The quote I received was 135 per tooth and one ended up being 225 which can be expected I leave feeling happy that I have updated my mouth persay, a few weeks later I notice spots that cou ld be cavities I think I can't have any cavities I just got them all filled there is no way in two weeks I can have new ones. Well no they stay so I get concerned and book an appointment, supposed to be free of charge t ease my mind. i go to my appointment. I have three cavities he tells me, I say nothing as I feel cheated, like the deliberately didn't tell me.

Let me preface by saying I have needed much dental work over the course of my life... poor enamel development as a child! When my dentist, for a few years, retired and the new dentist who took over his practise, I scheduled an appointment for a cleaning and check-up. 99% of my appointment was with a very pushy hygenist who insisted I get all kinds of x-rays and special treatments. When i tried to deny them she looked at me like I had 5 heads or I was denying my children food! When the dentist finally made an appearance he didn't introduce himself or say one word to me, he stuck his fingers in my mouth for about 30 seconds and left. That was out first interaction and he blew it big time! That paired with the outragously expensive bill for cleaning and I can safely say I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE! He had horrible bedside manor for the whole 30 seconds I saaw him and he also had a miserable disposition. I have already made an appointment at a different office!
